The CNC Machinist plays a critical role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and consistency across machining operations while supporting a collaborative, professional shop environment. The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills for precision machining Install tooling, fixtures, and workpieces and verify proper setups Load, run, and adjust CNC programs at the machine Perform drilling, milling, turning, and cutting operations Conduct test runs and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications Document measurements, inspections, and production activity Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment and tools including: Machines: CNC Lathes and CNC Mills Controls: CNC machine controls (specific platforms based on cell) CAM Software: Mastercam (strong plus) Inspection Tools: Calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Materials You'll Work With Metals commonly used in precision machining (Specific materials will vary by job and program) What We're Looking For Required: Proven experience as a CNC Machinist / Setup Operator Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup, tooling, and offsets Knowledge of CNC programming fundamentals and machine controls Experience performing part inspection and quality verification Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Safety-minded, dependable, and able to work independently Preferred (Not Required): Mastercam experience Formal technical training or CNC certification Experience troubleshooting complex machining issues Why Machinists Like Working Here Machinists choose Chem Flowtronics because of: Competitive top-of-market pay ($51+/hr+) Hands-on training with experienced professionals Respectful, team-oriented shop culture Emphasis on integrity, accountability, and craftsmanship Modern CNC equipment and professional standards A schedule that supports work-life balance (4x10s) Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay: $51+ per hour (DOE) Bonus: Yearly performance bonus Benefits Include: Flexible scheduling Paid time off (PTO) Schedule: Day Shift 4x10 workweek Apply Interested machinists can apply directly through hireCNC .
