The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SWIFT Alliance products, messaging formats, and protocols, along with the ability to deliver compliant, secure, and resilient solutions across the delivery lifecycle. Responsibilities: Install, configure, patch, and support SWIFT-provided software to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Contribute to story refinement and requirements definition, guiding estimation and delivery planning. Perform proof-of-concept work to mitigate risk and validate new approaches. Implement solutions with unit tests against defined acceptance and compliance criteria. Collaborate with production support partners to ensure reliable operations and effective issue resolution. Contribute to integration, regression, and performance test suites, analyze reports, and triage defects. Document and communicate deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Primary Skill: SWIFT (Alliance Gateway, Alliance Access, Web Platform, SWIFTNet Link). Secondary Skill: Python. Tertiary Skill: Core Java. 5-10+ years in the technology industry with 3-5 years hands-on SWIFT product installation, patching, troubleshooting, and testing. Knowledge of all SWIFT messaging formats and demonstrated experience with SWIFT protocols. 3+ years supporting applications on AIX or Linux operating systems. 1+ years delivering in Agile environments. 3+ years completing application documentation for risk, regulatory, and compliance obligations. Experience with infrastructure upgrades or replacements. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication, with effective listening skills. Creative problem solving and the ability to work independently and in teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with Alliance Messaging Hub. Knowledge of ISO 20022 payment formats. Understanding of emerging payments: US RTP, SEPA Instant, FedNow, or other real-time payment formats. Familiarity with SDLC, DevOps, and basic release automation practices. Desired Qualifications: Awareness of banking products, services, and business flows. Basic understanding of financial data and team-level impact. Ability to facilitate Agile planning ceremonies and manage risks, dependencies, and impediments for one team. General awareness of testing practices; experience collaborating on test planning and execution. Understanding of application and data architecture standards and participation in design delivery. Knowledge of data management practices and technologies. Awareness of experience design principles and accessibility guidelines. Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence decisions using evidence and clear rationale.
