Overview Bowhead seeks a Lead IT Equipment Custodian to support our customer on the PICRD II contract in Colorado Springs, CO. Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and implement account management and inventory control for all systems (hardware and software) and communications equipment (hardware and software) under HQ USSPACECOM control, IAW DAFI 17-1203 and ensure consistency with configuration management processes and concepts. • Maintain the HQ USSPACECOM/IT CMS database, listing all systems and communications equipment with unique identifying characteristics. • Track software licensing and update the database within 1 business day of changes. • Conduct annual inventories of all HQ USSPACECOM systems and communications hardware/software and report findings with recommendations. • Ensure all hardware and software are added to the inventory database before installation. • Dispose of excess hardware and software according to DAFI 17-1203.
