Overview SYSTEMS ENGINEER (MBSE) (E30-8): Bowhead seeks a DoD SECRET cleared Systems Engineer with Model-Based Systems Engineering experience to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) on the MK 160 Gun Computer System and Naval Fires Control Systems. The position is fully funded and in the second year of a five-year contract. Responsibilities The Systems Engineer will work directly with the client analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments. The Management Analyst Senior will be the senior expert and must have extensive knowledge and experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles. Responsibilities Job duties include but are not limited to: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist. management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Includes program analysts and management consultants. Leads the application of analytic techniques and helps define project objectives and strategic direction. May be responsible for providing leadership and vision to client and project teams around the methodology. Resolves complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles. Directs the activities of more junior Analysts or other staff as necessary on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies. Qualifications ABS or BA degree is required in addition to at least five (5+) years of experience as an analyst. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS. The ISSO/Systems Security Engineer will be responsible for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in security systems, conducting vulnerability scans, and applying system, network, and operating system hardening techniques.
