GoAhead Solutions has an immediate need for a Middle Office Technical Analyst Investment Operations in New York, NY. This would be a Six to Twelve month contract to start out. This position would be hybris with three days per week in the office. Position Summary: Apollo is seeking a business-focused technologist and functional subject matter expert to support the advancement of technology capabilities in the Middle Office and Controllers businesses. The individual will work closely with key stakeholders in the Investment Operations functions to lead projects, gather and document business requirements, and coordinate the development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of these requirements. Responsibilities: - Work with middle office Ops professionals to understand and produce business and functional requirements and collaborate with the development teams to implement solutions. -Work with Apollo internal resources and application vendors to establish the appropriate development approach and timeline. -Track and maintain project plans, risk matrices, issue lists, and all related project artifacts to ensure successful implementation of related engagements. -Develop comprehensive test cases and participate in development and QA Testing. -Communicate effectively with stakeholders and build relationships continuously. -Assist with the analysis of middle office platform processes and capabilities and the ongoing development of a technology strategy. -Partner with the business to ensure SLAs and other key metrics are met or exceeded. -Identify best practices for optimizing system use both internally and externally. -Act as an escalation point for support issues and increase in-house functional support resolution with well-documented RCA and permanent resolutions. Experience Required: -8+ years of industry full-cycle experience in SDLC methodologies and approaches, including refining business requirements and defining functional specifications, development, and testing. -3+ years of experience with C#, Python, SQL and Excel Macros. -Experience with a leading wire management platform is required. This would be an onsite position. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Vertex Integration SME with strong functional expertise in Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes. The ideal candidate will lead the design, configuration, integration, and solution governance of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Vertex tax engine, ensuring seamless tax calculation across Procure-to-Pay and AP workflows. Key Responsibilities: 1. Functional & Technical Expertise -Serve as the subject matter expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud integration with Vertex for tax. -Lead end-to-end solution design and configuration for P2P/AP tax determination using the Vertex Connector. -Ensure alignment of tax rules, jurisdictions, product taxability, and reporting requirements between Oracle Fusion and Vertex. 2. Integration & Configuration -Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Vertex connectors, including tax mappings, transaction attributes, and integration touchpoints. -Manage data flows between Fusion (AP, Purchasing) and Vertex (O Series or Cloud). -Troubleshoot integration issues, tax calculation discrepancies, and connector performance. 3. S2P / AP Process Enablement -Support S2P processes including requisitioning, purchasing, invoicing, and payment workflows. -Ensure accurate tax determination for AP invoices, purchase orders, credit memos, and supplier configurations. -Optimize AP tax processes for compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. 4. Project Delivery & Governance -Lead workshops with business users, tax SMEs, finance teams, and IT stakeholders. -Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs. -Prepare configuration documents, functional design documents (FDDs), test scripts, and training materials. -Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover activities. 5. Compliance, Controls, & Support -Ensure tax compliance across U.S. and global jurisdictions leveraging Vertex validations. -Provide ongoing support for month-end, year-end tax processes, and audit requirements. -Partner with Tax, Procurement, and Finance teams to maintain tax accuracy and policy alignment. Required Qualifications: -5 10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials or Procurement. -Strong hands-on experience with Vertex Accelerator for Oracle and Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud integrations. -Proven functional knowledge of S2P and AP processes, data flows, and configurations. -Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and integration debugging skills. -Experience in implementing or supporting tax solutions in large-scale ERP environments. -Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
