Helping companies connect with great people Recruiter Tech Candidate Advocate PNW Director of IT LHH is looking to hire a Director of IT for an established client of ours in the construction space. This person will play a pivotal role in aligning IT initiatives with business goals, and enabling our client's organization to adapt to a rapidly changing technological landscape while managing risks and optimizing IT investments. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee Technology Team personnel while managing goals, priorities, and outcomes tied to the organization's business needs. Monitor internal and external environment to stay on top of technology advances, information systems, and processes across the construction and facility services industries. Lead support of critical business needs, internal stakeholder productivity, external customer, and service provider technical interactions, and regulatory and compliance management. Lead the negotiations, contracts, and vendor management of the Company's technology hardware/software, mobile/field tech, and 3rd party providers. Offer a strong understanding of the user experience and establish business processes, systems, technology, data, and information systems to achieve and exceed business outcomes. Application Management. High-level expertise in productivity best practices. Lead teams and individuals by aligning the passion and talents of others, empowering teams, promoting collaboration, removing barriers, and showing recognition and appreciation. Qualification Requirements 5+ years of leadership experience building foundational core systems and leading transitions of legacy on-prem systems to the cloud, integrating data/information, and establishing technology roadmaps to meet business needs. Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, MIS, business degree, or related area required. A Master's Degree in a related field is preferred but not required. Construction or facility services industry experience is a strong plus. The ability to talk in non-technical terms about how technology can be used to further business needs and goals. Familiar implementing core foundational systems with successful outcomes (i.e.: financial, customer, employee). Experience in multi-site orgs with distributed systems. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with strong native mobile development experience and backend expertise. You will contribute to critical services and integrations that power a fast-paced, innovative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain native mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin). Design and implement robust APIs, collaborating closely with backend engineers. Contribute to the core services and data aggregation layer, ensuring scalability, quality, and rapid iteration. Build high-quality integrations with internal services leveraging rich financial datasets. Partner with external teams to acquire new data and enhance user experiences.
