Overview Founded in 2024, DualEntry is one of the world's fastest-growing AI startups. At DualEntry, the future of finance is being written today. ERP is one of the largest fintech markets in the world ($220,000,000,000+). Yet, tens of thousands of companies are still using on-premise systems, and the industry has not seen new entrants in more than 30 years. Our AI-native ERP lets accounting teams achieve more in less time. $5M-ARR businesses to NYSE-listed companies trust DualEntry to automate away manual data entry work with AI. We're finally making the one-person finance team a reality and putting the pain of legacy ERPs from the 1990s in the past. We operate with urgency and ownership. We move fast. Why this role matters now Since starting 18 months ago, we've raised $100,000,0000+ from world-class investors such as Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, Contrary Ventures and Google Ventures, as well as more than 20 angel investors who've built, scaled, and exited some of the most impactful companies of the last decade. We got there by moving incredibly fast and hiring an exceptionally sharp, hard-working and deeply committed team from leading tech and accounting companies - Ramp, Meta, Microsoft, Lyft, PwC, Deloitte, J.P. Morgan, Bloomberg, Sage, Xero and Intuit. And some of us don't have a fancy logo on our resume and are here for a shot to prove ourselves. We're a small team, growing fast with huge momentum - join early. As our Staff Frontend Engineer, you'll build and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You'll operate with full ownership: deploy daily and make fast decisions. This is an intense, hands-on role with full ownership. Our mission The trucking and logistics industry provides the backbone of the economy. But the payments infrastructure on which it runs is broken. For the hard-working men and women of this sector, the existing suite of payment tools is outdated, difficult to use, prone to fraud, and saddled with shady fee structures. The incumbent players in this space often overlook the economic and practical needs of this user base. We're changing that. AtoB is building Stripe for Transportation - modernizing the payments infrastructure for trucking and logistics. Supply chains rely on the timely movement of capital to function efficiently. Our end game is a world in which that capital movement occurs fairly, smoothly, and without delay. As we pursue that end game, we aim to center our customers in every way - offering them world-class customer experience and building products that work with and around the unique constraints of their daily lives. We build for fleet managers in the office and drivers on the road. We strive for products that are efficient, satisfying, and useful. Our customers enable our modern economy - they deserve it. Our history and background Our founding team has backgrounds in payments, working on autonomous vehicles at Cruise Automation, leading ops and growth for Uber, and building apps that were featured on the Apple app store. We have staff and senior engineers from Google, Uber, Meta, Shopify, Stripe, Chime, and other leading technology companies. We have raised $125 million+ from investors such as General Catalyst, Elad Gil, Bloomberg Beta, Y Combinator, XYZ; founders and CEOs of companies such as Google (Eric Schmidt), Salesforce (Marc Benioff), Coinbase (Brian Armstrong), DoorDash (Tony Xu), Instacart, Gusto; strategic investors like Mastercard, Flexport and Samsara. We were named to Forbes annual Next Billion-Dollar Startup List, and have just recently been selected to join the World Economic Forum as a Global Innovator. About Us Learn more about our mission, culture, and background on our Careers Page. Responsibilities Lead and participate in large, often ambiguous technical projects, laying the groundwork for early-stage products to iteratively evolve and scale. Design, build, and maintain APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems. Make effective tradeoffs between business priorities, user experience, and reliability. Own critical frontend, backend & platform projects end-to-end-from design to production ops. Push architecture that scales to billions in annual payment volume and real-time risk controls. Work closely with product and GTM leads to turn ambiguous problems into elegant code. Qualifications Have 5+ years of professional experience building B2B or B2C SaaS products (FinTech, payments, or marketplace a plus). Thrive in zero-bureaucracy, high-ownership environments. Balance speed with rigor-automated tests, clean abstractions, clear docs. Can dive deep into code (we use React, Ruby, Postgres-but great engineers pick up tools fast). Communicate crisply across time zones. This role is required to be in office 4 days/week (Mon-Thurs) either inSan Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Vancouver, Toronto
