Hiring: Senior Cerner CCL Consultant / Technical Lead Location: Austin, TX (Remote) Client : Texas health and human services We are looking for an experienced Cerner CCL Consultant with deep expertise in Cerner Millennium, healthcare data migration, and enterprise reporting environments to support large-scale EHR initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary care settings • Develop, optimize, and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts • Perform complex data extraction, validation, and reconciliation from Cerner Millennium Oracle schemas • Support enterprise-wide EHR migration, reporting, and legacy system retirement initiatives • Design and maintain ETL processes, structured data feeds, and flat-file extracts • Troubleshoot CCL performance issues and downstream integrations • Collaborate with clinical informatics and technical teams to ensure accurate implementation of clinical requirements • Support production and non-production Cerner Millennium environments Required Skills & Experience: 11+ years of healthcare IT / EHR experience Strong expertise in Cerner Command Language (CCL) Hands-on experience with Cerner Millennium architecture & Oracle databases Experience with SQL, Linux, ETL processes, and enterprise data migration Knowledge of REST/SOA development and distributed systems Experience with healthcare data integrations and reporting environments Proficiency in one or more: Java, C, C++, Python, Perl, OCI Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI cloud platforms Ability to translate clinical workflows into technical/data specifications Preferred: • Prior experience supporting Cerner Millennium environments • Experience as a Senior Cerner Consultant or Technical Lead
