The Principal Software Engineer will be part of a fast-paced, startup environment where they will work on a diverse range of projects, from developing advanced medical devices to implementing AI-driven solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of healthcare technology. Responsibilities: Design complex, scalable software systems and architectures. Evaluate existing architectures and propose improvements. Ensure technical decisions align with product roadmap. Plan technical projects and milestone deliverables in alignment with product managers. Coordinate engineers and their tasks and monitor overall progress. Design and build impactful technical solutions and own them through the entire development lifecycle. Develop complex features and components. Review code and designs developed by other engineers. Debug difficult issues across the codebase. Research the latest technologies and propose ways to integrate them to improve the product. Come up with solutions for technical challenges and improvements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers. Establish engineering best practices and standards. Clearly communicate complex technical concepts and designs to both technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate cross functionally across product, program management and other teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 15+ years of experience in software development and demonstrated engineering leadership 8+ years of experience in backend development 3+ years in using Typescript and AWS High level of skill in at least one general-purpose backend language and one frontend language, but willingness to work with other languages High level of distributed system design skill Creating platforms, reusable libraries, and utilities wherever applicable Writing high-quality code that is modular, functional, and testable Troubleshoot issues effectively in a distributed architecture Interested in hearing more?
