Requirements: What We're Looking For 10-15 years of Applications Engineering experience within the pump industry strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering strongly preferred Strong preference for candidates with pump OEM or major distributor experience Deep understanding of pump hydraulics, pump construction, and system applications Ability to interpret specifications, contracts, P&IDs, drawings, and technical submittal requirements Experience with CAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools preferred Ability to develop technically accurate proposals and bills of material Strong communication skills and sound engineering judgment Comfortable working through both pre-award and post-award phases of a project Relevant Experience / Key Skills Applications engineering, pump sizing, pump selection, hydraulic selection, pump systems, centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps, municipal water, wastewater, industrial process pumps, technical proposals, bill of materials, submittals, order fulfillment, CAD, SolidWorks, Goulds Pumps, Xylem, rotating equipment.
