Job Description As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn't changed - we're here to stop breaches, and we've redefined modern security with the world's most advanced AI-native platform. We work on large scale distributed systems, processing almost 3 trillion events per day and this traffic is growing daily. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We're proud to work for a mission-driven company leveraging AI to transform the way we work. CrowdStrikers drive their careers through flexibility and autonomy while also being expected to contribute to a culture of responsible AI adoption, experimentation, and innovation. We use an AI-first mindset as a force multiplier to proactively and continuously accelerate execution, build expertise, uncover insights, and solve complex problems. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: Our mission is to make all of our customers' security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. To enable this, the systems behind NG-SIEM are growing to accommodate >100 PB of event and action data ingested every day, up to 10 years of retention, and dozens of millions of queries per hour across large sections of the data stored. Ideal candidate for this Senior Engineer has deep expertise in large-scale distributed/control systems (intelligent placement, auto balancing, autoscaling) and the ability to go deep into the underlying data platform (LogScale) - ingestion, storage, and query internals - to connect scaling decisions to real system behavior in a large multi-tenant environment. We run a multi-tenant platform where many customers share a common pool of infrastructure. The core challenge is a two-sided optimization: deliver the best performance for every customer while achieving the best overall resource utilization (minimal wasted capacity, maximum density). This role is hybrid, on-site at one of the posted locations: Sunnyvale, CA; Redmond, WA; New York City; or Austin, TX with a strong preference to candidates in Austin, TX. What You'll Do: Intelligent Customer Placement - Decide which part of the fleet each customer lands on, bin packing tenants efficiently while reserving enough headroom so everyone gets the capacity they're entitled to. Auto balancing - Continuously rebalance customers across shared infrastructure as load shifts, protecting each customer's performance while keeping the fleet healthy. Autoscaling - Automatically add or remove capacity as demand changes, so the fleet grows and shrinks with real usage instead of being manually provisioned. Data-Driven Decisions - Use real-time per-tenant usage (e.g., memory, storage, throughput, query cost) to drive placement and balancing. End-to-End System Depth - Go deep into the underlying data platform (how data is ingested, stored, cached, and queried) to understand why a placement or scaling decision helps or hurts, and feed that back into the models. Operational Rigor - Operate what you build, and treat customer-impacting incidents with the same rigor as feature work; reliability and static stability are forcing functions for design, not a phase bolted on after launch. Feature Delivery - Deliver key parts of our systems as an individual contributor while leading the team to solve ambiguous problems, and move the scalability of our LogScale engine to the next level. Technical Strategy & Alignment - Engage with other technical leads and principal engineers to keep our technical strategy coherent across the LogScale platform and move our product mission forward. Communication - As a remote-first company, bring excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with teams across the globe. What You'll Need: Must be a U.S. Citizen or US Permanent Resident. 7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple software products/systems/releases, preferably in a SaaS delivery model, across all phases of the development lifecycle, and across multiple software stacks; 4+ years of experience as an engineer in a force-multiplying position (delivery through others); Current hands-on experience as an engineer (3+ years) owning a distributed system that handled tens of billions of requests per day or more than 1 PB of data per day; History of significant and continued impact on customer experience and business results; Demonstrated track record of operational excellence when operating services that span many components across several geographical regions; Experience working with and growing strong engineers within remote teams across geographies and cultures; Ability to communicate and articulate crisply Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes. Bonus Points: Hands on development experience in Golang and Scala. Solid grounding in the technology of at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise with Kafka. Exposure to or experience with Log Management or cybersecurity products. Machine learning and data science familiarity and hands-on experience. This role will require the candidate to periodically undergo and pass additional background and fingerprint check(s) consistent with government customer requirements. Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike: Market leader in compensation and equity awards Comprehensive physical and mental wellness programs Competitive vacation and holidays for recharge Paid parental and adoption leaves Professional development opportunities for all employees regardless of level or role Employee Networks, geographic neighborhood groups, and volunteer opportunities to build connections Vibrant office culture with world class amenities Great Place to Work Certified across the globe CrowdStrike is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: CrowdStrike Falcon Host is a two-component security product. One component is a "sensor": a driver installed on client machines that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the Falcon Host cloud. The sensor processes thousands of events per second to provide deep visibility into operations on the endpoint, and performs rich correlation and computation to identify malicious events and blocks malicious activity. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer's network, correlates malicious behavior across multiple machines, and presents our customers' operations teams with a prioritized summary of the threats detected in their environments. This is a Principal Software Development Engineer (SDE) role in the CTIO team that delivers the cutting edge innovation for our sensor (lightweight agent) for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS platforms. The SDE's in the team own design and development of core features on the platform. Features will cross-cut most core OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking. Many features are also built in a way that they will have shared components across Linux, Windows, and MacOS. The team operates under the Agile development principles and ships frequently. The CTIO team at CrowdStrike is responsible for defining and executing the company's technology vision and strategy, driving innovation and overseeing the development and evolution of the Falcon platform. The CTIO ensures CrowdStrike maintains its position as a technology leader by fostering engineering excellence, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives, and anticipating emerging threats and market trends. What You'll Do: Collaborate with all the sensor development teams, across the company, on architecture and strategic initiatives. Conceptualize and develop new product features. Provide guidance and support to development teams in designing and implementing software for cross-platform delivery (Windows, macOS, Linux). Take ownership of features throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial design to final delivery, including presenting product demonstrations at the conclusion of each sprint. Engage in cross-functional collaboration with teams situated in various locations. What You'll Need: Deep knowledge of C/C++. Extensive understanding of Linux, Windows, OR Mac OS internals. Proven experience in debugging memory corruption issues, process contentions, and system performance bottlenecks. Demonstrated experience collaborating with teams to successfully deliver major features and releases. We're always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and operate effectively within a geographically distributed team. Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you. About the Role: CrowdStrike Falcon is the industry standard in cloud native cybersecurity and threat hunting, processing trillions of events per day. As a Principal SRE, you will operate at the intersection of our Core Platform and Embedded Reliability charters: building the foundational libraries, services, and tooling that every product group depends on, while embedding directly with product engineering teams and their leadership to drive reliability outcomes at scale. While we embrace the SRE moniker, at CrowdStrike it means something far more service oriented and engineering heavy than traditional operations. This is hands on systems engineering - writing production code, re architecting critical systems, and eliminating entire classes of failure - not ticket management. It is far and away our most self driven and autonomous backend engineering role, with the freedom to move up, down, and laterally across the stack as needed. You'll join a group with bottom up visibility and ownership of a fast expanding codebase (including AI based Detection & Response) and a far reaching mandate for service resiliency. Several key feature additions and critical re architecture initiatives are underway: deploying core services to additional cloud providers, modularizing into reusable components, improving core libraries and frameworks, maturing observability tooling (tracing, profiling, alerting, SLOs), and automating away manual toil across all of the above. Recent examples of the team's work include introducing adaptive concurrency into our core Kafka library to implement flow control that protects database performance, resolving critical issues in leader election libraries, and building infrastructure as code tooling that eliminated manual deployment processes. At the Senior Engineer level, your influence is organizational. Product engineers and engineering leaders will come to you for guidance on architectural decisions because you've earned credibility through hands on work and delivered results. You will shape architectural choices that affect every feature development team and provide shared architectural components leveraged throughout the Falcon Platform - including Unified Search, Protobuf libraries, and other shared tier infrastructure. Why This Role Matters: Our customers depend on us to protect their businesses from sophisticated threats, and reliability isn't optional - it's fundamental to our mission. Your work directly impacts whether organizations around the world can defend themselves against cyberattacks. You'll work on problems that matter, at a scale few companies can match, with the autonomy to make real architectural decisions. This is a hybrid role, with employees typically working 2 to 3 days per week in the office. Offices are in Midtown Manhattan, NY; Redmond, WA; Sunnyvale, CA; and Austin, TX. What You'll Do: Partner with engineering leadership across multiple product groups to define and drive multi year reliability roadmaps. Design and implement architectural improvements to services, libraries, and platforms that impact teams across all of CrowdStrike. Develop and maintain services that meet aggressive reliability and scalability demands. Extend and build new libraries for cross cutting concerns spanning CrowdStrike's cloud platform, which comprises hundreds of libraries and services. Lead initiatives around reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency in large scale distributed systems. Establish foundational observability practices: ensure teams instrument services properly, react to signals effectively, and leverage observability to drive automation such as continuous delivery. Define and implement service level objectives and error budgets that drive real decision making and prioritization. Lead performance and cost optimization efforts: profiling, bottleneck analysis, capacity planning, and cloud efficiency improvements. Conduct resilience engineering: chaos experiments, failure injection, failure modeling, and designing for graceful degradation. Design and implement automation and infrastructure as code to improve infrastructure reliability and eliminate manual toil. Provide technical leadership during complex incidents and ensure follow through on retrospectives with concrete improvements that eliminate entire classes of failures. Identify opportunities to extract common patterns into shared libraries and tools, or partner with platform teams on improvements benefiting multiple product groups. Continuously re evaluate our products to improve architecture, knowledge models, developer and user experience, performance, and stability. Drive strategic technical decisions and influence infrastructure and operational improvements across the organization. Mentor and coach engineers, raising the technical IQ of the team and driving architectural standards across the org. Use and give back to the open source community; evangelize software engineering best practices, especially as they pertain to Go. Brainstorm, define, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams as an energetic self starter who owns and is accountable for deliverables. What You'll Need: 10+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems and service oriented backends at scale. 5+ years developing microservices for a SaaS product in a modern backend language (Go, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, Node.js). Expert level proficiency in at least one programming language, with expert level Go or demonstrated ability and willingness to reach expert level in Go. Deep understanding of distributed systems: consensus algorithms, replication, consistency models, failure modes, and scalability patterns. Proven experience scaling backend systems - sharding, partitioning, horizontal scaling, capacity planning, and performance optimization are second nature. Deep understanding of multi threading, concurrency, and parallel processing. Track record of making impactful architectural decisions at organizational scope and seeing them through to production. Strong systems thinking and the ability to influence without direct authority across organizational boundaries. Thorough command of engineering best practices: appropriate testing paradigms, effective peer code review, and resilient architecture. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, test driven, collaborative, and iterative environment; strong team player orientation. A desire to ship code and a love of seeing your bits run in production. Degree in Computer Science, or commensurate experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes. Bonus Points: Experience driving reliability improvements in organizations with hundreds or thousands of microservices. Deep knowledge of Kubernetes or other large scale orchestration systems. Hands on experience with AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, or similar large scale distributed technologies. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Experience delivering or operating services across multiple cloud providers, including multi cloud abstraction layers, portability, and cloud agnostic tooling. Track record of building internal platforms, developer platforms, or tools that other engineers depend on. Experience with infrastructure cost optimization at scale. Background in performance engineering: profiling, optimization, and identifying system bottlenecks. Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing practices. History of establishing SLO/SLI frameworks and error budgets in production environments. Contributions to the open source community (GitHub, Stack Overflow, technical blogging). Prior experience in the cybersecurity or intelligence fields. Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike: Market leader in compensation and equity awards . click apply for full job details

Ideal candidate for this Senior Engineer II has deep expertise in large-scale distributed/control systems (intelligent placement, auto balancing, autoscaling) and the ability to go deep into the underlying data platform (LogScale) - ingestion, storage, and query internals - to connect scaling decisions to real system behavior in a large multi-tenant environment. 12+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining multiple software products/systems/releases, preferably in a SaaS delivery model, across all phases of the development lifecycle, and across multiple software stacks; 4+ years of experience as an engineer in a force-multiplying position (delivery through others); Current hands-on experience as an engineer (3+ years) owning a distributed system that handled tens of billions of requests per day or more than 1 PB of data per day; History of significant and continued impact on customer experience and business results; Demonstrated track record of operational excellence when operating services that span many components across several geographical regions; Experience working with and growing strong engineers within remote teams across geographies and cultures; Ability to communicate and articulate crisply Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes Bonus Points: Hands on development experience in Golang and Scala. Since pioneering our first mobile, solar-powered units, our commitment to scrappy, hands-on innovation has made us an established leader and one of the fastest-growing companies in intelligent site technology. We are building the next generation of solutions-from our physical units in the field to a powerful Agentic AI platform-that allows our customers to gain unprecedented visibility and control over safety, compliance, and operations. This is your chance to join a cutting-edge team that isn't just watching the world change, but actively building the technology that is changing it. We're a team that's focused on growth and innovation, and we're proud that our crew, products, and leadership are being recognized for it. A Top-Tier Growth Company: Named one of the Financial Times' Fastest Growing Companies 2025 and on the Inc. 5000 Rocky Mountain Regional list for 2025. Innovative Leadership: Our CEO, Ryan Porter, was named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 , and our CTO, Steve Lindsey, was inducted into the Silicon Slopes CTO Hall of Fame in 2024. Product & Software Excellence: We were named one of The Software Report's Top 100 Software Companies of 2023 and are a winner of the Security Today Govies Award for 2025. ABOUT THIS ROLE At LVT, application security isn't an internal formality or a late-stage gate. We run a multi-tenant cloud platform, AI-driven video analytics, and license plate recognition pipelines, and we deploy thousands of solar-powered units everywhere from remote utility sites to busy retail parking lots, where anyone can walk up and touch the hardware. A tenant isolation bug, an unsigned firmware update, or a flaw in our analytics isn't just a ticket. It's a customer incident, a potential public headline, and a threat to public trust. We don't block innovation; we make high-speed execution safe. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Application Security to own product security end-to-end across LVT's physical and digital architecture. This is a player-coach role: you will manage and mentor our existing application security engineers, hire 1-2 additional security engineers, and launch a Security Champions program across product teams. Reporting to our Director, Security Engineering, you will earn a standing seat in product and engineering planning, frame risk so clearly that engineering leaders take ownership of it, and design guardrails that make the secure path the easiest path. If you'd rather build the program than police it, this role offers direct organizational impact. This role is based full-time in-office out of our Headquarters in American Fork, Utah. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor current AppSec engineers, hire and onboard 1-2 security engineers, and launch a cross-functional Security Champions program that scales your impact across every engineering squad. Product Security Ownership: Set the architecture and standards for LVT's full attack surface, from our multi-tenant cloud platform and partner APIs to mobile clients, computer vision pipelines, and solar-powered edge firmware. Engineering Partnership: Hold a standing seat in product design and planning, turning security risks into prioritized backlog items that engineering teams own and ship. Threat Modeling at Scale: Make threat modeling a core muscle that engineering squads run independently. Train teams on the fundamentals while staying hands-on for high-stakes system designs and edge/hardware boundaries. Tenant Isolation: Define, enforce, and test tenant boundaries across all platform services, deploying automated checks so cross-tenant data leaks never reach production. Secure SDLC Automation: Build security into CI/CD pipelines as code (SAST, SCA, secrets detection, IaC policy), delivering developer feedback in minutes, not sprints, with low noise and clear build-break rules. Edge & Firmware Security: Partner with hardware and embedded teams on device boot security, signed OTA update pipelines, edge credential management, and threat models that assume physical access. AI/ML & Analytics Security: Safeguard our AI vision models, prompt boundaries, and data pipelines against abuse, keeping privacy-by-design at the forefront in a regulated and publicly scrutinized space. AI-Assisted Development Standards: Define guardrails for how LVT engineers use AI coding agents, ensuring AI-generated code meets our standards for safety, testing, and architecture. Compliance as Engineering Artifacts: Turn real product security controls into audit evidence for SOC 2, GovRAMP, FedRAMP, and CJIS through native engineering workflows instead of manual compliance exercises. Incident Response & Disclosure: Oversee external vulnerability intake, triage, and coordinated disclosure (VDP/bug bounty), and lead engineering response to product security incidents. Observability & Systemic Defenses: Partner with SecOps to instrument telemetry for authorization failures and edge abuse, turning incident learnings into root-cause controls. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE The Player-Coach Mindset: 10+ years in AppSec or product security, including significant time as a hands-on engineer and 4+ years as a people manager or formal technical lead. You still read code, build automation, and hold your own in architecture reviews with principal engineers. Engineering Empathy: You know what it takes to ship software. You've carried a pager, hit deadlines, or maintained a release pipeline. You understand why shortcuts happen and spend your political capital wisely. Cross-Functional Influencer: You can point to releases or system architectures that changed because of an argument you made, and explain how you earned buy-in without pulling rank. Cloud & SaaS Depth: Deep technical grounding in multi-tenant authorization, zero-trust architectures, and API security at scale. Tooling & Code Fluency: Fluent in at least one language in our stack (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript/Node, C/C++), with the ability to write custom automation, tooling, and CI integrations. Hardware & Firmware Exposure: Familiarity with IoT, embedded platforms, hardware security modules, or OTA update validation, or a proven ability to master physical attack surfaces quickly. AI/ML Security Literate: Understanding of model supply chain risks, data handling during inference, and security reviews for AI-augmented features. Metrics-Driven: You know the difference between a tool and a program. You measure success by coverage, adoption, defect recurrence, and remediation velocity. Location: Based onsite out of our headquarters in American Fork, Utah. Bonus Points: Experience in video streaming, computer vision, or physical safety products; hands-on work in regulated spaces (FedRAMP, GovRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS); a track record scaling a formal Security Champions program or running a VDP/bug bounty. BENEFITS We believe you do your best work when your whole life is supported. We invest in our crew's health, families, and financial futures with a benefits package designed to support you inside and outside the office. Full-time benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO. LVT IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. All candidates must pass a drug screening and background check upon employment. Some roles may also require passing a federal background check and fingerprinting. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. If reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in the job application or interview process, and/or to perform essential job functions, please reach out to your recruiter.

Job Description Job Description Lead enterprise-level AI/ML and GenAI architecture, defining AI platforms, LLM solutions, integration patterns, security, governance, and MLOps. Provide technical leadership across complex AI initiatives and mentor architecture/engineering teams.
Job Description Job Description At ASAPP, our mission is simple: deliver the best AI-powered customer experience-faster than anyone else. We are guided by principles that shape how we think, build, and execute, including deep customer obsession, purposeful speed, ownership, and a relentless focus on outcomes. We work in small, highly skilled teams, prioritize clarity over complexity, and continuously evolve through curiosity, data, and craftsmanship. We're building a globally diverse team of technologists and problem solvers who thrive in fast-paced environments, value collaboration, and approach every challenge with a Day 1 mindset. With hubs in New York City, Mountain View, Latin America, and India. If you're driven by continuous learning, rapid iteration, and the challenge of building in a high-growth startup, this is more than a role-it's a journey. We are seeking a Principal AI Architect to be the senior technical voice our enterprise customers turn to as they plan how AI fits into their customer experience. You will spend most of your time with customer technology leaders, helping them shape a practical, forward-looking path on ASAPP's platform. The rest of your time you'll spend inside our Delivery, Research, and Engineering teams, staying close to what we're building and what's working in production, and sharing that knowledge with our Customer-facing technology teams. What You'll Do Serve as a trusted technical advisor to CTOs, CIOs, heads of CX technology, and enterprise architects at strategic prospects and customers. Bring a clear point of view on where conversational and agentic AI is heading, and help customers decide what to adopt now, what to plan for, and what to skip. Lead executive briefings, architecture discussions, and workshops alongside our account and solutions teams. Shape and qualify custom requests, favoring solutions that become reusable product capabilities, and partner with Product and Delivery before making commitments. Start with a structured onboarding rotation through our Delivery, Research, and Engineering teams, so you build hands-on knowledge of our platform and how we deploy it before taking on full account coverage. Embed regularly with Delivery, Research, and Engineering, and turn what you learn into concise guidance that helps our Solution Engineers, and related technical field teams. Bring customer needs back to Product and Engineering as clear, prioritized input. Represent ASAPP externally through content, talks, and industry conversations. What You'll Bring 10+ years in enterprise technology, including 5+ years as a principal or lead architect, solutions leader, engineering director, or applied AI/ML lead. Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and LLM application architecture; familiarity with conversational AI and speech. A track record of owning technical outcomes on complex enterprise programs. Excellent executive presence and communication, with the ability to explain technical ideas to both business and engineering audiences. Good judgment about scope, including the confidence to tell a customer "not yet." A track record of publishing or presenting on applied AI, such as LinkedIn posts, a blog, a YouTube channel, or conference talks. A large following isn't required, but we're looking for someone who already shares what they learn publicly. Nice To Have Contact center tech, CCaaS, or CX technology experience. Experience in a field CTO, office-of-the-CTO, or principal architect role at an AI, cloud, or data platform company. Depth in one or more industries such as travel and hospitality, financial services, telecommunications, or insurance. The actual salary may be different depending upon non-discriminatory factors such as qualifications, experience, and other factors permitted by law. ASAPP is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status. If you have a disability and need assistance with our employment application process, please email us at to obtain assistance. We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
