Understand consumer engagement, retention, discovery, and user behavior. Can own major product areas from concept through implementation. Can evaluate existing designs, identify weaknesses, and raise the visual quality of an entire product. Move quickly, communicate clearly, and thrive in entrepreneurial startup environments. You will work directly with company leadership, our existing UX/UI designers, and engineering teams to shape the core experiences of OleOle, including: Microblogging and personalized social feeds. Messaging, group chats, and mobile voice and video calls. TikTok-style short-form video, discovery, and creation. Live football scores and match experiences. Help establish long-term design quality standards and a culture of exceptional product craftsmanship. Qualifications What We're Looking For Required qualifications Minimum 7 years of professional UX/UI or product design experience. Substantial hands-on experience designing consumer-facing native iOS and Android applications. A portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design quality in shipped mobile products. You'll help shape that direction, and you'll be the main voice for mobile UX across product, engineering, and clinical teams. What You'll Do Own mobile design from start to finish. Lead mobile projects from defining the problem through research, interaction design, testing, and engineering handoff, for both phones and tablets. Design for real-world conditions. Build clear, responsive interfaces that work with gloved hands, on different screen sizes, in moving vehicles, and in lighting that ranges from bright sun to a dark roadside at night. Grow our design system. Use and contribute to the Pulse Design System by creating and updating mobile components, patterns, and guidelines that stay consistent across mobile and web. Make complex workflows simple. Partner with product, engineering, and clinical experts to break down complex clinical workflows, map user journeys, and explain trade-offs clearly. Test and validate your work. Run usability tests, heuristic reviews, and other research. Use what you learn to improve designs with each iteration. Support the wider platform. Contribute to select web app projects so the full Handtevy experience feels like one product. What You Bring 5+ years of product design experience. Your portfolio should show mobile app design, strong interaction patterns, and projects you owned from concept to launch. Strong mobile UI craft. You have deep skill in visual hierarchy, typography, responsive layouts, and native iOS and Android patterns. Figma and design system skills. You're fluent in Figma, including auto layout, prototyping, and variables. You've worked inside an established design system and know when to adapt a component and when to build a new one. Systems thinking. You see how individual screens, components, and flows connect. You design solutions that scale across the product, rather than one-off fixes. Hands-on accessibility experience. You've applied WCAG standards, designed for proper touch target sizes, and designed for users in a wide range of conditions. Research and testing skills. You've run usability tests and turned what you learned into clear product changes. Comfort with complexity. You can take vague requirements and complicated workflows and turn them into simple, intuitive designs. Clear communication. You explain your design decisions with sound reasoning, push back on assumptions when needed, and build trust with partners across teams. Nice to Have Experience designing for healthcare, enterprise SaaS, or other high-stakes software Familiarity with hybrid mobile frameworks such as Ionic or Capacitor, or web-based front ends like Angular Experience writing design system documentation for developers Exposure to clinical decision-support tools or emergency medical workflows Experience using AI tools to speed up design or prototyping Experience using product analytics to measure how designs perform after launch Why Join Handtevy? Your work matters. Clinicians use our products to make life-saving decisions for patients of all ages. Real ownership. You'll be the main voice for mobile UX, with a manager who designs alongside you. Help build the practice. You'll help grow our design system, strengthen how we research and test, and shape how design works at Handtevy. Hard, interesting problems. You'll combine clinical logic, mobile design, and accessibility in a domain where getting it right truly counts. Benefits Health Insurance Dental Vision 401(k) PTO How to Apply Please send your resume and a link to your portfolio. We especially want to see mobile case studies that show how you think, how you solve complex problems, your interaction design craft, and any component or system work you've done. Please make your role clear in each project, along with your process and the reasons behind key decisions. If much of your best work is under NDA, that's fine. Share what you can, and we're happy to have you walk us through the rest in a live conversation. Equal Opportunity Handtevy is an equal opportunity employer.

Our core platform, SonarQube, verifies over 750 billion lines of code every day, delivering agentic verification and governance for all code. Trusted by more than 7 million developers and 75% of the Fortune 100, including teams at Nvidia, ServiceNow, Goldman Sachs, AstraZeneca, and Ford Motor Company, Sonar enables organizations to reduce outages, improve security, and lower the cost and risk of agentic software development. Founded in Geneva and now headquartered in Austin, Texas, Sonar has a global team working across offices and hubs, including Silicon Valley, London, Bochum, Barcelona, Singapore, Tokyo, and the Washington, D.C. area. At Sonar, we're enabling enterprises to build agentic software factories that can move quickly while maintaining the control, consistency and evidence required to ship with confidence. Gitar.ai is an AI-native code review platform that uses AI agents to support pull request validation and CI workflows by reviewing code, diagnosing failures, proposing fixes, and adding tests and validations directly within existing development processes. Gitar automatically makes every change production-ready, approves and merges routine changes, involves humans only in exception cases, and learns from each exception to improve over time. In that model, humans oversee the end-to-end process rather than manually reviewing every change. Position description Sonar is looking for a passionate, seasoned product designer to join our Product Design team. You will fundamentally shape the experience of our (agentic and human) users as they build the software of the future. You'll help ensure that our developer and agent users write better code, navigate complex codebases, and leverage AI agents to accelerate large-scale code changes. In your product area, you will work closely with Product Management and Engineering teammates to ensure that the proposed solutions meet the expected outcome and that we collectively deliver the best products to help development teams write better and more secure code. You will also collaborate with other designers and researchers across the organization, ensuring consistency and contributing to best practices. What you will do Own and lead product design across your squad, setting design direction and raising the bar for craft, quality, and strategic thinking. Build for AI agents as first class users. You won't just be designing a compelling experience for human users, you will also ensure that the product works exceptionally well for our silicon-based users too! Integrate AI into every stage of your design workflow, leveraging it to accelerate research synthesis, automate repetitive tasks, and explore high-fidelity prototypes more efficiently. Listen to our users and customers to understand their needs. Develop a deep understanding of the SDLC and how we can enable developers and AI agents to produce better quality software. Work closely with other product designers to ensure a cohesive information architecture and a unified experience across the entire product platform. Align with your product manager on problem definition, providing design solutions throughout the end-to-end development stage. Partner with engineering teams early in the design process to vet technical feasibility and uncover edge cases. Mentor fellow designers through critique, pairing, and feedback - actively investing in the team's growth and raising collective craft. Shape and advance the Product Design team's processes, tools, and collaborative frameworks - not just contributing to them, but taking genuine ownership of their evolution. Have the opportunity to work and experiment daily with a variety of AI tools and models, doing real work. Experience and qualifications Experience organizing complex environments into logical structures and mapping user journeys that minimize friction. Demonstrated curiosity and practical experience using AI tools to accelerate research, ideation and design velocity. A self-starter mindset with the drive to identify UX gaps and propose structural improvements without being prompted. Ability to articulate design decisions and the "why" behind them to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfort working in a cross-functional environment where feedback is shared openly and success is a team effort. Delivery mindset. Your role does not end when the design is handed off. Track record of driving design strategy and establishing patterns that scale beyond your immediate squad - influencing the broader product and design organization. Familiarity with software development workflows, the SDLC, or a background in computer science - you don't need to write production code, but you need to think alongside engineers who do. Experience designing AI workflows or agent-driven experiences is a strong plus, and will meaningfully shorten your onboarding ramp. Job Description Job Description Shield AI is a venture-backed defense-tech company with the mission of protecting service members and civilians with intelligent systems. Its products include Hivemind autonomy software, V-BAT and X-BAT aircraft, and Aechelon simulation and synthetic reality technologies. With offices and facilities across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, Shield AI's technology actively supports operations worldwide. For more information, visit . Follow Shield AI on LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube. Job Description: The Special Projects team at Shield AI is an elite force within the office of the CTO. It consists of a group of very senior (L5-L8) and highly experienced software engineering experts from diverse fields (aerospace, robotics, cloud infrastructure, game development, interactive media design, ). The charter of this group is to steer technology development towards strategic alignment with the CTO's vision, through tactical insertion into teams and technologies across the organization. Individuals within this team make direct and at times forward-sprinting contributions to all three pillars of Hivemind, Shield AI's software ecosystem for developing and deploying resilient intelligent teaming for aircrafts. Hivemind consists of four products: EdgeOS (C++ based high-performance middleware for autonomy development), Pilot (autonomy for the edge built atop EdgeOS; a models-based, modular and open architecture C++ codebase), Forge (Shield AI's AI Factory for the design, development, and testing of Hivemind Edge systems; a service-oriented architecture leveraged through an SDK, CLI, and web portal; a Go, Python, Typescript codebase), Commander (Software and hardware to support rich human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop interactions with the Hivemind; a C++-based back-end for interaction with Pilot; and a web-application UI for mission planning, command and control by operators implemented in a Typescript/React codebase). The Special Projects team is chartered to operate effectively within ambiguity. While this team does not own any software products, it tactically and strategically impacts the development of all foundational Hivemind products and leverages those technologies to rapidly deliver low-TRL solutions. This work happens shoulder-to-shoulder with the product teams in some cases, and in a forward-sprinting manner within the Special Projects team in other cases. The result is direct contribution to products in the former case, and development of reference implementations in the latter. The Special Projects team also functions as a pipeline for product and solution engineering teams across the organization. Individuals who enter the Special Projects team rapidly gain depth and breadth in their understanding of the Hivemind software ecosystem. This positions them well for leading technology development effort across the product and solution organization. What you'll do: Design and build the user experience for agentic AI products across the office of the CTO: an enterprise knowledge assistant (Brain), an agent-driven engineering platform (Springboard), and enterprise AI/data applications. Prototype in code. Ship working React/TypeScript implementations, not mockups - then land them in production with the product teams. Design the core interaction patterns of agentic software: streaming responses, citations and provenance, multi-modal input, artifact sharing, and human-in-the-loop review and approval surfaces. Design interfaces for foundation-model based autonomy architectures and model lifecycle tooling: evaluation dashboards, trace inspection, observability, and verification surfaces. Conduct user research across engineers, operators, and executives; define personae and translate findings into design decisions. Investigate competing agentic and enterprise AI products; synthesize findings for engineering and product leadership. Establish reusable design patterns and a component vocabulary for AI applications across the organization. Drive adoption: instrument what you ship, watch real usage, and iterate daily. Required qualifications: 12+ years designing and building production software interfaces, with end-to-end ownership from research through shipped product. Expert-level React/TypeScript; you write production-quality front-end code, not just prototypes. Portfolio of shipped tools or applications demonstrating strong interaction design and visual craft. Hands-on experience designing LLM-powered experiences: streaming, progressive rendering, loading states, context and conversation management. Deep knowledge of client and UI state management, the DOM, browser APIs, WebSockets, and Server-Sent Events. Experience running user research and usability testing, and acting on the results. Strong software hygiene: Git, code review, testing, CI/CD. Fluid intelligence that allows one to operate effectively in ambiguous conditions while finding opportunities to drive technical efforts and force multiply. Experience with Linux, Docker, and a major cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS). This role requires travel to a Shield AI location 1-3 times per quarter Preferred qualifications: Experience designing developer tools, IDEs, or engineering workflow products. Data visualization experience (D3, WebGL, dashboards); geospatial a plus. Experience building or maintaining a design system. Experience designing debugging/inspection UIs for generative AI systems. Experience with Electron (or similar). Experience with user experience design for video games or interactive media. Experience designing for "low code" or "no code" systems. Comfort reading C++ and/or Python and/or Go. Senior staff: $190,000-$290,000 Principal: $230,000-$340,000 Full-time regular employee offer package: Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity Temporary employee offer package: Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment) Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. All offers are contingent on a cleared background and possible reference check. Military fellows and part-time employees are not eligible for benefits. Please speak to your talent acquisition representative for more information. Shield AI is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
