Key Responsibilities: Design, engineer, and support IP networks for Visa's commercial network infrastructure, connecting Visa to commercial clients. Plan, design, implement, and support network systems of moderate complexity in the commercial network environment. Provide network design documentation to project teams, peers, and network support organizations. Provision new client processing by completing necessary network updates and providing technical assistance to clients in support of network changes. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience. Experience in scripting to facilitate automation. Experience deploying and using SDWAN technologies, particularly Cisco and Versa. Experience working on connectivity solutions using leading public cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP. Experience working in a variety of network operating models including managed services. Experience implementing engineering solutions for network monitoring and alarming tools, leveraging vendors such as Netcool, IBM SevOne/ITNM, Solarwinds, Netscout, Netbrain, and Thousandeyes. Familiarity with DMVPN implementation in a high availability setting. Experience with DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) in an enterprise network, with a solid understanding of DNS and DHCP concepts. Experience with open-source infrastructure as code software and automation software development tools including Terraform, Terragrunt, env0, Ansible, Python, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
