THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF You have a bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field You have a minimum of one year of experience with RTCA DO-178C or similar safety-critical software design process. You are proficient in C programming. You have the ability to work directly with target hardware, including lab bench equipment and other tools for debugging and analysis. You are proficient with Microsoft Office. You have strong attention to detail. You are organized, focused and results oriented. You are a problem-solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills. You have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF (but it's not a deal breaker) You have experience with C#, or Python languages for a PC application software. You have familiarity with VHDL and RTCA DO-254. You have familiarity with formal coding standards and safety-critical design considerations. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT Create and review design data within the software qualification lifecycle process. Practice safety-critical methods, create plans, requirements, design standards, coding standards, change tracking and verification, formal and functional verification Test and troubleshoot prototype and certified code on target hardware.
