Must be able to successfully complete all required job training 2. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 3. 6 month manufacturing/warehousing experience or equivalent 4. CRC Bronze or above B. Required Language Skills 1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and emergency procedure, and maintenance instructions. 2. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. 3. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers. C. Required Mathematical Skills 1. Ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. D. Required Reasoning Ability 1. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. 2. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form E. Preferred Qualifications 1. Fork Lift License and Pallet Jack License 2. Knowledge of database software; inventory software; manufacturing software; spreadsheet software; and word processing software 3. Certified Production Technician program completion V. The employee may be required to successfully pass scheduled testing for vision, hearing, respirator fitting and spirometry. VI. WORK ENVIRONMENT A. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions; work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outdoor weather conditions; extreme heat; and vibration. B. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; and occasionally loud. VII. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS/PPE A. Safety shoes must be worn while on NGK property. B. The employee will work in multiple areas and will abide by any safety requirements; hearing, head and eye protection are required in designated areas or under prescribed work conditions. C.
