Part-time & Full-time Location: Broad Ripple and Simon Tower Pay: $13/hour + Tips Job Type: Non-Exempt HIGHLIGHTS/OPPORTUNITIES In-depth training and development program Discount on Java House coffee and other items Coffee on us while on shift Accrued PTO Upward mobility at a growing company Internship opportunities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Craft coffee, tea, or food items based on customer order Manage small team of Baristas on shift by ensuring Barista team is setup to provide Java House experience for customers Assist in handle escalated customer interactions Provide an energetic and uplifting experience for team and customers Educate and inform customers of differences between roasts, types of coffee, and other product Operate and manage cash register and card payment systems Effectively communicate with coworkers and customers Cash handling - consolidating tips into the cash drawer, counting, and balancing the cash drawer after each shift, recognizing counterfeit moneys Equipment troubleshooting - should be knowledgeable about all equipment used, and capable of basic troubleshooting Complaint resolution - handling guest feedback in a productive and positive way Product integrity - managing the rotation, expiration, and changing over of all products to ensure all product is excellent Upholding Java House policies and procedures Inventory Management Managing Labor - ensuring shift is running smoothly and working through all priorities (including but not limited to customer support, cleaning, cash management, inventory management, additional store manager direction, etc) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Maintain regular attendance Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays Meet store operating policies and standards Engage with and understand our customers Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions Ability to build relationships Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work in fast-paced environment Java House is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse work team.

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: The Senior Technical Lead at Urban Farmer is responsible for leading and supporting technical systems, infrastructure, and digital solutions that enable efficient, safe, and compliant food manufacturing operations. This role provides technical leadership across manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and business systems, ensuring technology solutions align with Urban Farmer's operational goals, food safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Technical Lead serves as a hands-on technical expert and mentor, partnering closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure technical solutions that support plant performance and business growth. Schedule : This position may require up to six (6) days of work per week based on business needs and operational demands. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership & Systems Oversight Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable and reliable technical solutions across manufacturing and enterprise systems. Serve as the primary technical authority for system architecture, integrations, and troubleshooting across production, quality, and operational platforms. Establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and documentation for system configuration, development, testing, and deployment. Support and maintain critical plant systems to ensure uptime, performance, and data integrity in a manufacturing environment. Manufacturing & Operations Support Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality teams to support technology that enables production efficiency, food safety, traceability, and compliance. Assist with technical support for manufacturing systems, equipment interfaces, data collection, and reporting tools. Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, automation, and data visibility across bakery, toppings, warehouse, and logistics functions. Project Execution & Delivery Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional leaders to define technical scope, requirements, timelines, and resource needs for plant and corporate initiatives. Translate business and operational requirements into practical, well-designed technical solutions. Manage technical risks, dependencies, and change impacts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. Team Leadership, Collaboration & Mentorship Lead, mentor, and support technical team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and problem-solving. Provide hands-on guidance, coaching, and feedback to improve technical skills, documentation, and execution. Facilitate technical reviews, knowledge sharing, and post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in software development, systems architecture, or technical leadership roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Expertise in system design, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and DevOps tools. Strong understanding of databases, APIs, and microservices architecture. Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading diverse technical teams.
