Director, Product Security
Crunchyroll, LLC Los Angeles, California
About Crunchyroll Founded by fans, Crunchyroll delivers the art and culture of anime to a passionate community. We super-serve over 100 million anime and manga fans across 200+ countries and territories, and help them connect with the stories and characters they crave. Whether that experience is online or in-person, streaming video, theatrical, games, merchandise, events and more, it's powered by the anime content we all love. Join our team, and help us shape the future of anime! About the role Crunchyroll is growing and evolving, creating both new opportunities and new challenges as it protects millions of anime fans worldwide while still shipping quickly and with high quality. We are looking for a security leader who wants to shape how engineering builds and operates securely at scale. In this Principal-level, hands-on Director role reporting to the VP of Information Security, you will connect strategy to execution by turning security goals into secure-by-default, compliant systems and practices that teams actually use. You will partner closely with engineering leaders and senior ICs to reduce friction, align on priorities, and drive consistent follow-through, protecting our fans and our platform without sacrificing delivery velocity. Success will be through influence and enablement, and you will also periodically build practical solutions, such as reference implementations and tooling integrations, that make it easier for teams to adopt the right security patterns. Core Areas of Responsibility In this role, you will be a force multiplier for engineering, setting the direction, building key parts, and ensuring follow-through so security becomes a durable part of how Crunchyroll ships. You will own the engineering-facing mechanisms that make security real in day-to-day delivery: Security execution at scale: Drive adoption of security controls across engineering by driving adoption of clear engineering playbooks, paved paths, and secure-by-default platform capabilities that can be consistently adopted across services, regardless of engineering domain. Engineering teams remain accountable for design, implementation, operation, and remediation of their services. This role provides security strategy, guidance, tooling, visibility, coordination, and escalation mechanisms that enable teams to meet those obligations consistently at scale Vulnerability closure and systemic risk reduction: Facilitate the operating rhythm across engineering for vulnerability intake, triage, tracking of vulnerability ownership, SLAs, remediation planning, verification, and escalation. Establish systems and processes that ensure timely fixes and eliminate repeat issues through improvements. Tooling integration and evidence readiness: Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate enterprise security tooling into CI/CD and production environments, and ensure engineering can reliably produce evidence of compliance in a low-friction, automated way. Design-time security embedded in engineering workflows: Ensure threat modeling and security architecture considerations are built into how engineering designs and ships using approved patterns and reference architectures as the default starting point. Pragmatic requirements shaping: When requirements are infeasible or disproportionately costly, you'll drive early escalation and propose alternatives (sequencing, compensating controls, platform changes) so we maintain momentum without accepting unmanaged risk. Cross-team alignment and escalation: Identify cross-domain architectural risks and drive alignment / decision-making through established engineering leadership and architecture governance processes, bringing the right stakeholders together and escalating when tradeoffs require executive judgment. Incident readiness and closure: Improve security incident preparedness in engineering (runbooks, exercises, detection hooks) and ensure post-incident actions translate into durable engineering improvements. Partner with Global Security for execution: Serve as the primary engineering counterpart to Global Security, translating enterprise policies, controls, tooling, and compliance requirements into recommendations or actionable insights that are adoptable engineering practices, and feeding back where standards need better patterns, automation, or sequencing to scale. What success looks like Success in this role is not about managing security reviews, success is measurable engineering outcomes: Drive enterprise-wide adoption of Security and Privacy by Design, ensuring security, privacy, and compliance requirements are proactively integrated into products, services, and technology platforms Security controls are implemented broadly with minimal friction because the secure path is well defined Vulnerabilities have clear owners, predictable remediation, and decreased recurring issues Success in this role is about partnering with Engineering teams on security initiatives and enabling them to be effective with an understanding that Engineering teams have clear ownership of platforms and will be accountable for them About You We get excited about candidates like you, because You have 12+ years of progressive experience in information security, application security, cloud security, or software engineering, including significant experience leading enterprise-scale security initiatives through technical influence rather than direct authority. You exhibit Principal-level technical leadership with a proven track record of leading cross-team security initiatives through influence, clarity, and shipping real systems-not just policies. You possess strong application security fundamentals such as: authn/authz, session security, secure API design, data protection, threat modeling, and secure SDLC practices. You have pragmatic risk management, with the ability to prioritize, quantify tradeoffs, and create guardrails that teams actually adopt. You have cloud & platform security experience such as: IAM concepts, secrets management, key management, service-to-service auth patterns, and logging/detection fundamentals. You possess a DevSecOps and automation mindset and have experience integrating security checks into CI/CD with minimal developer friction. You exhibit depth in vulnerability management, knowing how to triage, develop remediation strategies, verify fixes, all while partnering with teams to close the loop quickly. You possess excellent communication skills that include concise, executive-ready writing and strong technical coaching abilities for engineers. You meet people where they are and endeavor to build intrinsic motivation to develop solutions to problems through shared understanding. Preferred, but not required: Experience with streaming/media security and DRM ecosystems and output protection concepts. Experience with mobile and device ecosystems (iOS/Android/TV devices), including secure storage patterns and platform attestation. Familiarity with reverse engineering tools and client hardening/anti-tamper approaches. Exposure to privacy/security compliance partnerships (GRC) and working with legal/product on policy requirements. About the Team Crunchyroll's Security team is focused on partnering with teams across the organization to provide secure solutions and protect company assets as we serve the Anime community. We provide Security, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), Data Privacy, and Network Infrastructure services to the enterprise. Everyday we have an opportunity to make a positive impact while being at the center of innovative initiatives. If you are looking to join a team where you will make a difference, we would love to hear from you. Integration meets Innovation At Celigo, we believe integration should empower - not exhaust - innovation. As a modern Integration and Automation Platform (iPaaS), we're on a mission to simplify how companies integrate, automate, and optimize processes. Powered by game-changing technology like runtime AI and prebuilt, mission-critical integrations, Celigo is redefining how businesses connect their world. Celigo is building the operating system for business automation - an integration platform that helps thousands of companies connect their applications, automate workflows, and unlock the power of AI-driven agents. We're looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to own strategy and execution across some of the most consequential product lines in our portfolio: the core platform, our AI product suite, API management, and data ingestion. This is a role where your strategic fingerprints will be visible across the business - from revenue contribution and customer retention to how product management itself is practiced in an AI-first world. About the Team Celigo's product organization is built on deep collaboration between Product Management, UX Design and Research, and Engineering - co-owning outcomes from problem definition through delivery. Our leadership team runs on a charter built around dynamic domain ownership, evidence-based strategy, and AI-augmented velocity, meaning we use AI not just in our products but to make our own teams faster and smarter. You'll work alongside a Sr Director of UX, a Director of PM covering other parts of the portfolio, a Director of Product Operations, and Engineering leadership. The culture is direct, craft-oriented, and allergic to performative alignment. We debate hard behind closed doors and present a united front to our teams. The Opportunity You'll lead a team of experienced product managers covering the core platform, AI (Ora, Agent Builder, MCP Server, Guardrails), API management (including an OEM partnership), and data ingestion (including an OEM partnership). The portfolio is broad, strategically important, and directly tied to Celigo's competitive positioning in the iPaaS market. The team is capable and in place, and we're continuing to deepen strategic autonomy across the PM org - strengthening the muscle for PMs to define problems, make decisions, and own outcomes with increasing independence. You'll carry that work forward while also sitting at the center of Celigo's AI transformation, both shipping AI products that deliver real customer outcomes and evolving how product development works in an AI-first environment. What would you do if hired? Own product strategy for Core Platform, AI, API Management, and Data Ingestion - developing multi-quarter roadmaps tied to revenue, retention, and competitive positioning. Continue deepening strategic autonomy across the PM org - extend decision-making authority and vision ownership to senior PMs and strengthen the structures that sustain independent operation. Drive AI product-market fit - ensure Celigo's AI capabilities translate into measurable customer success with autonomous agents and AI-assisted integrations. Lead the AI transformation of PM practice - bring a point of view on how AI reshapes the PM role and the product development lifecycle, then operationalize it. This work requires a relentless drive to solve complex challenges with real-world stakes. We are looking for builders and owners who operate with speed and urgency and execute with excellence. This is an opportunity to do career-defining work. We're all in on this mission. If you are too, let's talk. The Federal Operations Engineering Group Okta's Federal Operations team supports government customers operating in FedRAMP-authorized, IL4, and IL5 environments. We deliver the same 99.999% availability promise to the federal market while meeting the strict security, compliance, and operational requirements that come with it. We're looking for a technical leader who understands both the SRE discipline and the unique demands of federal customer relationships - someone who can hold a technical conversation with an agency ISSO in the morning and unblock an incident bridge with an engineering team in the afternoon. As Senior Manager of Federal SRE Operations, you will own the operational health of Okta's federal environments, lead a team of engineers working within compliance-governed change processes, and serve as a trusted point of contact for federal security stakeholders. What you'll be doing Lead and grow a team of SREs operating Okta's FedRAMP High, IL4, and IL5 environments, ensuring reliability and compliance obligations are met simultaneously. Serve as the primary operational relationship manager for federal agency security leaders - including Authorizing Officials (AOs), ISSOs, and ISSMs - translating technical SRE practices into language and posture appropriate for federal oversight. Own the continuous monitoring program for Okta's federal boundary: coordinate POA&M remediation, drive vulnerability SLA compliance, and represent operational risk posture in ATO reviews. Partner with Okta's GovCloud product and security teams to ensure infrastructure changes go through FedRAMP-compliant change management processes without sacrificing velocity. Drive incident response and post-incident review processes that satisfy federal reporting obligations (e.g., FISMA incident notification timelines) while improving system reliability. Manage cross-functional relationships with 3PAOs, federal agency security teams, and internal compliance, legal, and security stakeholders during audits, ATO renewals, and security assessments. Maintain operational runbooks, system security plans (SSPs), and evidence packages that reflect the true state of the environment - not just what audit season requires. Accelerate the federal engineering team's velocity by building compliant self-service tooling, automation, and CI/CD pipelines that reduce the friction of operating in a restricted environment. Lead, mentor, and grow engineers across the federal SRE organization, including setting career paths that bridge deep federal compliance knowledge with modern SRE practices. What you'll bring to the role 5+ years of experience in technical leadership and people management, with at least 3 years in a federal or regulated environment (FedRAMP, DoD, IC, or equivalent). Demonstrated experience managing relationships with federal security stakeholders - AOs, ISSOs, agency CISOs, or equivalent - not just writing documentation for them. Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP authorization frameworks, FISMA reporting requirements, and DISA STIGs. Experience operating large-scale cloud infrastructure in FedRAMP-authorized environments (AWS GovCloud preferred); IL4/IL5 experience a strong plus. Strong background in SRE or platform engineering fundamentals: Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, observability, and incident management. Ability to hold compliance and reliability in tension - understanding when a change needs to go through a CAB and when a P1 incident requires you to move faster and document after. Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting operational risk and reliability posture to non-technical federal security officials. Experience supporting or leading FedRAMP ATO processes, continuous monitoring programs, or FISMA annual assessments. U.S. Citizenship required (see below). Active or current eligibility for a federal security clearance (Secret or above) is a plus and may be required for certain program support. Additional requirements: This position requires the ability to access federal environments and/or have access to protected federal data. As a condition of employment for this position, the successful candidate must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status (e.g. a U.S. Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee. 22 CFR 120.15) upon hire. At CNA, we strive to create a culture in which people know they matter and are part of something important, ensuring the abilities of all employees are used to their fullest potential. Senior individual contributor on the Developer Experience (DevX) platform team, responsible for designing, building, and operating an AI-native software delivery platform across five capability domains: FeedBack (AI intelligence, observability, DORA metrics), Enterprise Enablement (Internal Developer Portal, golden-path onboarding), Build & Delivery (CI/CD/CT, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Harness), Safety / Application Security (Veracode, SonarCloud, JFrog Xray, supply-chain security), and App Accelerator (container base images, dev containers, starter app templates). Leads the development of AI agentic SDLC workflows - autonomous and human-in-the-loop agents that accelerate code generation, PR review, test authoring, vulnerability remediation, and deployment across engineering teams - in direct support of the platform's north-star goal of taking a developer from template selection to a running pre-production application in 10 minutes or less. Acts as a force multiplier for DevX, partnering with platform, security, container, and product engineering to embed AI assistance into every stage of the SDLC. JOB DESCRIPTION: Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines: Own and evolve the Internal Developer Platform (Harness IDP) - self-service catalog, scaffolding templates, and golden-path workflows targeting the platform's north-star goal: developer selects a template and has an application deployed to pre-production in 10 minutes or less. Architect and own CI/CD/CT pipelines on GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Harness across the Build & Delivery domain; design for reliability, security, and progressive delivery - able to design and operate end-to-end, not just configure. Design and build AI agentic SDLC workflows: event-driven agents that autonomously perform code generation, PR review, test authoring, Veracode vulnerability auto-remediation, SonarCloud gate enforcement, and release orchestration across the delivery pipeline. Implement evaluation frameworks for agentic systems (Arize, Phoenix, or equivalent) - define ground truth datasets, regression suites, guardrails, and online/offline evals to ensure AI agents operating inside the SDLC remain safe, accurate, and auditable. Drive supply-chain security inside the Application Security domain: integrate SBOM generation (JFrog Xray, Syft, or Anchore) into delivery pipelines, contribute to the Binary Authorization and container image hardening initiative for Kubernetes workloads, and design automated policy gates and remediation flows. Contribute to the App Accelerator domain - maintain and evolve container base images, dev container definitions, and starter app templates so that golden-path scaffolded applications are current, secure, and ready for AI-assisted development from day one. Senior Technical Product Manager, GPU Infrastructure
Nscale New York, New York
About Nscale Nscale is taking on the hyperscalers by building a vertically integrated GenAI cloud platform. We own the data centres, software, and applications that power today's AI stack using sustainable technology solutions. We thrive on a culture of relentless innovation, ownership, and accountability, where every team member takes pride in their work and drives it with excellence and urgency. As an Nscaler, you'll build trust through openness and transparency, where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Collaboration is key, and we work together swiftly and respectfully, embracing adaptability and resilience in all we do. About the role Technical Product Managers at Nscale own the definition, delivery, and ongoing evolution of a slice of the Nscale platform. You partner closely with engineering, design, research, and go-to-market teams to translate customer problems and operational realities into shippable product outcomes. As a Senior Technical Product Manager for Fleet Operations, you own the product strategy for the day 0-2+ operational software that runs our global GPU fleet - the systems that bring capacity online, keep it healthy, and restore it fast when things go wrong. You partner daily with Fleet Software engineering teams, SRE, and Support to turn operational pain into durable product: provisioning and bringup (day 0), testing and deployment (day 1), and the full lifecycle of monitoring, incident response, repair, RMA, firmware, and decommissioning (day 2+). You operate at team scope, owning a major product area and driving multi-quarter initiatives that directly move fleet availability, utilisation, and time-to-recover. Senior Technical Product Manager, Fleet Operations 1 What you'll be doing Own the strategy and roadmap for a significant Fleet Operations product area - e.g. provisioning and bring-up, fleet health and telemetry, incident and repair workflows, firmware and lifecycle management, or capacity and inventory. Lead multi-sprint, cross-functional initiatives from problem framing through rollout across live GPU clusters, working hand-in-hand with Fleet Software, SRE, data centre operations, and Support. Turn operational ambiguity into product: shadow on-call rotations, ride along with support and repair workflows, and translate recurring toil into tooling, automation, and platform capabilities. Define the metrics that matter for a GPU fleet - availability, utilisation, MTTR, time-to-bring-up, hardware failure rates, support ticket deflection - and drive the roadmap against them. Partner with engineering on architecture and trade-offs for systems that span bare metal, orchestration, observability, and control planes. Drive incident reviews and postmortems into product commitments; close the loop so the same class of issue doesn't recur. Mentor junior product managers and raise the quality bar for PRDs, reviews, and product decisions across the team. Represent Fleet Operations in planning, reviews, and leadership updates. What you need 5-8 years of product management experience in software or technology, with a track record of owning significant product areas in infrastructure, platform, or operations-facing products. Strong technical fluency in large-scale systems: you can lead discussions with engineering on architecture, trade-offs, and feasibility across provisioning, orchestration, observability, and control-plane design Experience building products for operators - SREs, NOC/support teams, data centre technicians, or similar - and a genuine appetite for understanding their workflows. Demonstrated ability to move from an ambiguous operational problem space to shipped product outcomes that measurably improve reliability, efficiency, or time-to-recover. Experience mentoring or informally leading peers. Excellent written and verbal communication; you can make complex product decisions legible to engineers, operators, and executives alike. Experience with data centre networking technologies, including high-performance GPU interconnects such as InfiniBand and RoCE (RDMA over Converged Ethernet), and an understanding of how backend (east-west/compute) and frontend (north-south/storage and management) network fabrics are designed and operated at scale. Familiarity with WAN, edge, and global backbone architectures - including how multi-site connectivity, peering, and traffic engineering support a globally distributed GPU fleet. Experience partnering with network engineering teams on fabric health, congestion monitoring, and link-level failure workflows, ideally in environments where network performance directly impacts training or inference workloads. Nice to haves Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or prior experience as an engineer or SRE. Hands-on background in cloud infrastructure, bare-metal provisioning, fleet or hardware lifecycle management, observability/monitoring platforms, or incident management tooling. Experience with bare-metal provisioning systems such as OpenStack Ironic (or equivalents like MAAS, Tinkerbell, or in-house provisioning stacks). Experience with DCIM tools such as NetBox (or equivalents like Device42 or Nautobot) for inventory, cabling, and rack/asset management. Experience with ITSM and ticketing platforms such as Jira Service Management (or equivalents like ServiceNow, Zendesk, or Freshservice) for support, incident, and RMA workflows. Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or equivalents - ideally including defining SLOs, dashboards, and alerting for large fleets. Familiarity with GPU or accelerated compute environments, data centre operations, or hyperscaler-style fleet management. Experience operating in high-growth or early-stage environments where the product is being built alongside the fleet itself Join Nscale as we build a world-class AI cloud platform. If you're excited about owning the software that keeps a global GPU fleet running - and raising the bar for the team around you - we'd love to hear from you! At Nscale, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace. We believe that a variety of perspectives enriches our work environment, and we encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities. We strongly encourage applications from people of colour, the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, neurodivergent people, parents, carers, and people from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
