Summary Primary Point of Contact (POC) for the XT-CS-CIO. XT-CS CIO Task Lead shall provide overall management and oversight of all activities performed by personnel. Responsibilities Implement and maintain frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CMMC to ensure organizational compliance. Oversee regular cybersecurity risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate emerging threats. Coordinate internal and external security audits to validate the effectiveness of controls Coordinate tasks among different project teams and manage cross-team dependencies to prevent resource conflicts. Lead crisis response efforts during major breaches, ensuring timely detection, containment, and recovery. Oversee the selection and management of third-party security vendors and ensure acquisitions meet organizational security standards. Drive a "security-first" culture by leading organization-wide cybersecurity education and training programs.
