Job Description Job Description About the Role Simple Mining operates large-scale cryptocurrency mining sites, and we're looking for someone who can keep up in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Manchester, IA . No remote work. You must be able to commute daily. Relocation is not provided. Must live in Iowa to be considered Starting pay: $18/hour What You'll Be Doing Keep Operations Running Track and close work tickets quickly Prioritize machines that need attention Maintain accurate records in Foreman and other systems Repairs & Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs Diagnose and troubleshoot issues Read miner logs and resolve performance problems Handle overheating, replace filters, and keep machines running efficiently Network & System Support Monitor machines using Foreman and BTC Tools Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues Set up IPs and bring new miners online Site Support Assist with setup of miners and pods Keep the site clean, organized, and secure Support and train team members as needed What We're Looking For What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED 1+ year of hands-on or technical experience Basic understanding of networks and IP addresses Comfortable learning new systems and entering data accurately Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to do physical work Nice to Have Experience with ASIC miners or similar equipment Familiarity with Foreman or BTC Tools Network setup or troubleshooting experience Let's Be Real About the Physical Demands Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs occasionally Stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the day Work in tight spaces around equipment Work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable in loud environments (hearing protection provided) Flexible schedule may be required (evenings/weekends if applicable) What We Provide We take care of our people. Job Description Job Description Job Description A Technician's primary responsibility is working with the crew to complete the scope of work in a safe and timely manner. Technicians generally work on Data Center sites and perform a wide range of work including cleaning, installations, fabrications, deconstruction, repairs, and other various tasks as needed by the customer or project. Responsibilities: Follow instructions from team leads, project managers, foreman's and any other managers from sites Be able to identify risk versus reward and minimize risky situations while working on site Work as efficiently as possible and be able to identify problems with area working Understand surroundings and be able to work in a mission critical environment Continued improvement and willingness to grow and learn new skills and tasks Be a team player as you will most likely always be working in teams. Ensure customer satisfaction through hard work and successful completion of scope of work Expectations: Report on time to the designated area and prepared to work each day as scheduled Present with appropriate dress and all equipment including PPE for each day Perform work according to scope of work and site standards and regulations Follow companies HR and safety policies for conducting work Verify own timesheets and communicate with management if issues are present Other duties as assigned Requirements: 0-2 years of technician experience Data Center experience is a plus Former construction experience a plus Must be 18 years or older Must have your own reliable transportation Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the USA Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Must be able to work in areas exposed to constant loud noises, temps ranging between 0-100 + degrees, and be able to lift 50 lbs. and be on your feet 90 % of the day or more. Must effectively communicate with other team members Must not be afraid of heights Fulltime, Onsite M-F, 6AM-3 PM $18/hr + Overtime hours!
