Ensure designs comply with local, state and federal regulations and codes. Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects and other team members to develop project specifications and budgets. Communicate with clients to understand their needs, present design options, and address any concerns. Perform quality checks and reviews of own work to ensure accuracy and completeness. Create and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, calculations, and reports. Provide support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs, and reviewing shop drawings.
