Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Serve as a principal technical advisor and engineer for IW research and development projects including evaluating technical approaches and defining integration pathways for operational use of advanced IW technologies that ensure Marine Corps and Department of War (DoW) capability development activities are aligned with standards and operational priorities; technically sound; and positioned for transition into operational units and/or programs of record. Develop small to large-scale prototype capabilities using advanced techniques (e.g., coding, automation, artificial intelligence, etc.) for sensing, targeting, automation, and decision-support operational and tactical capabilities, while actively managing project plans, budgets, and resources through rapid development sprints utilizing open-source frameworks to accelerate mission delivery. Conduct in-depth analyses to identify critical shortfalls across SIGINT, EW, Cyber, and IW workflows and mission systems, and formulate actionable courses of action, develop targeted technical solutions, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership to resolve complex, high-stakes operational deficiencies. Assess project proposals in alignment with capability gaps for technical feasibility and efficiency, providing hands-on support for internal initiatives to bridge Marine Intelligence Program (MIP) and non-MIP capability gaps. Serve as the primary liaison between organizational and external stakeholders to synchronize advanced technical capabilities development and delivery, roadmaps, and performance metrics that inform strategic leadership investment decisions. Implement and oversee risk management processes within the IW capabilities domain to identify and mitigate technical, operational, and integration risks. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, and/or data science/data engineering or related field and at least 8 years' experience in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic Warfare (EW) or Cyber Operations of which 5+ years of verifiable, hands-on engineering and development experience building and deploying practical system and software solutions for mission-specific or a bachelor's degree and 10 years' experience of which 5 years in the aforementioned experience. Experience with software/model development, data pipelines, systems integration, and prototyping at the tactical level, with a strict focus on applied engineering rather than theoretical research. Working knowledge of DoW digital platforms and software solutions to include enterprise implementations and operational/ tactical systems at unclassified and classified levels. Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning concepts, including algorithm development and analysis, model training, evaluation, and deployment applicable to IW at sufficient depth to engage with technical SMEs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing and providing briefings and decision memos to Senior Government personnel including General Officers, Senior Enlisted, and Senior Executive Service/ Civilians using common business tools and applications. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks with keen attention to detail, functioning effectively both independently and within a team Preferred Qualifications: Experience applying and integrating advanced techniques and solutions towards technical intelligence mission sets. Background in developing solutions for signals analysis and processing. Experience with DoD experimentation and RDT&E initiatives, rapid acquisition, or transition processes. Familiarity with Navy/Marine Corps systems, operations, and organizations Prior military service or direct support to operational units. Experience supporting or leading large multi-organization interdisciplinary technical teams. Clearance Requirements: Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph. Physical Requirements: Physically capable of supporting field exercises, including lifting up to 50 lbs., traversing rugged terrain, and traveling via military tactical vehicles, ships, and aircraft. Must be able to remain in a stationary/ desk position 50% of the time, occasionally and communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve clearly delivering briefings/ presentations.
