What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing systems (3+ years with an advanced degree). Proven experience in specifying, selecting, implementing, and commissioning industrial automation equipment and robotic systems, including hands-on experience with PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or equivalent) and HMI/SCADA systems. Experience leading automation capital projects from concept development through startup and operational handoff, including developing technical specifications, RFQs, and supplier evaluation criteria. Knowledge of industrial robotics platforms (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots, or similar) and experience integrating conveyor systems, robotic cells, machine vision systems, AGVs/AMRs, and automated material handling solutions.
