The successful applicant will also assist the IT Associate in analyzing requirements, resolving problems, and installing hardware and software solutions, as well as the following duties: Support all technology used in computer classrooms, computer laboratories, and smart classrooms; Provide technical support for Windows and Mac OS computers; Install, configure, update, and maintain Windows and Mac computers and related equipment; Assist with Mac OS management using tools such as Jamf Pro, Apple Business Manager, and Deepfreeze Cloud; Support and maintain PCs, printers, servers, and related equipment, as well as end-user support, license tracking, and PC maintenance, upgrades, and configurations; Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received by faculty in computer labs and smart classrooms; Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc; Document internal procedures; Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software; Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses; Manage PC setup and deployment using standard hardware, images, and software; Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required; Check class schedules to ensure that computer classrooms are open and ready to receive students and faculty; Load paper into printers and clear jammed paper in printers; Assist students with difficulties using productivity software such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Facilitate and manage student accounts for computer labs and printing applications.
