This position serves as the primary technical owner of the Court'sCase Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system andrelated national and locally developed applications. The incumbentis responsible for the full lifecycle of these systems on Linuxservers, including a virtualized environment of 20+ VMs:installation, configuration, security, performance, automation, andday-to-day operational support. The role also includes administrationof the underlying Informix database and development of scripts andtools that improve reliability and efficiency. Because this Court originally developed several national applicationsstill used by other courts, the incumbent may assist with theirinstallation and support as needed. The position functions as a keytechnical liaison between judges, chambers, the Clerk's Office, andexternal users. This is a hands-on technical role that combines programming andsystems analysis with Linux systems administration, applicationownership, and database administration - a mix of proactive systemownership and responsive support for judges, chambers, and Clerk'sOffice staff.
