In lieu of a degree, technical training in HVAC, refrigeration, controls, mechanical systems, or related fields is acceptable. Universal EPA CFC Certification OSHA 30 Certification (required) LEED Green Associate Ability to operate tools, test instruments, and diagnostic devices used in mechanical and HVAC trades. Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings. Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication and customer service skills. Prior experience with preventive maintenance programs and the operation of a wide variety of mechanical systems.
