Our client, a major bank in New York City, is looking for Equities Trade Support Specialist This on-site role, 5 days in the office. 6 months initial contract with possible extensions or option to hire. Rate: $95-105 on W2, possible C2C as well. Equities Trade Support Job Description: Provide direct front-office technology support to Equities traders, middle office users, and Compliance teams on the trading floor Monitor trading platforms and FIX network connectivity to ensure system stability and availability Diagnose and resolve real-time trading issues, including detailed investigation of compliance-related inquiries Communicate major incidents, impacts, and resolution status clearly to key stakeholders and senior management Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from traders, ensuring proper tracking, prioritization, and transparency Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for vendor and internal development teams to deliver enhancements Share end-to-end business workflows with Support and QA teams to strengthen regression testing and operational readiness Maintain and continuously improve the knowledge base, support runbooks, scripts, and technical documentation Qualifications: Over 5 years of experience supporting mission-critical front-office trading applications within Equities, including U.S. Market Making, ETFs, Electronic Trading, Global Program Trading, and Convertible Bonds Strong understanding of high-touch trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS platforms, IOI processing, market data, and CTM flows, Tidal or other scheduler systems Proven experience handling regulatory and compliance-driven requests and inquiries, including Reg NMS, Reg SHO, CAT, ACT, ORF, and TRACE Proficient with, SQL querying, JIRA for issue tracking, and Excel for operational analysis and reporting Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across front office, middle office, and control functions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus Soft Skills: Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of drive and accountability Confident, dependable, and consistently reliable Proven ability to work independently on complex issues and projects Effective collaborator with strong teamwork skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with solid documentation and reporting capabilities Education Requirement: Computer Science degree Please email your resume or use this link to apply directly: Or email: Check ALL our Jobs:
