Job Description Position Title Network Engineer II Liberty Hospital Position Summary / Career Interest: The Network Engineer II is part of the network infrastructure team that is responsible for design, administration, and support for our enterprise infrastructure operations. Monitors network performance and capacity utilizing network tools and system logs and proactively resolves any issues. Maintains documentation including networking diagrams and network services descriptions for the WAN and LAN network. Develop and write processes and procedures for installation and configuration of network systems or troubleshooting of network communications hardware or software. Plays a primary role mentoring level I network engineers in technical design, capacity planning, and network security. Works in a mentor role with co-workers to provide on job training for a more stable environment. Mentors level I engineers to develop their knowledge base. Demonstrates the ability to implement new technologies. Extensive hands on support of network routers, switches, and wireless controllers. Implements new approaches and shares technical improvements to the Network Manager.
