Managing the project team to nurture junior creatives, develop their talents, and elevate the overall quality of the client deliverables. Presenting design concepts and rationale to clients and internal teams in a clear and compelling manner. Producing clean, informative, and concise presentations to clients and internal teams that communicate the rationale behind your designs Giving insightful and constructive feedback on the design of the experience, including interactions, information architecture, content, layout, and overall alignment with goals and brand. Contributing to the evolution of CX methodologies, capabilities, approaches, and toolset. Attending and leading CX meetings and trainings. Engaging in professional development and industry involvement. Strong knowledge of user interface design best practices across various platforms, including web, OS-native, and embedded apps. Nivoda
Senior Product Designer
Nivoda New York, New York
Job Description Job Description About Nivoda Nivoda is a fast-growing B2B marketplace transforming the global diamond and gemstone industry. We connect thousands of suppliers and retailers across 100+ countries, processing $300M+ in annual transactions - and we're just getting started. The gemstone industry is a $350 billion opportunity, and we're building the infrastructure to unlock it. We move fast, hire exceptional people, and give them real ownership over meaningful work. If you want to join a company where your design decisions show up in the numbers - and where craft actually matters - Nivoda is your place. Our Mission The traditional diamond supply chain is opaque, slow, and inaccessible to anyone without deep industry connections. We're changing that. Nivoda's mission is to make the global gemstone market accessible to every business, regardless of size or location - giving a jeweller in Boston the same power as a trading house in Antwerp. Great design is central to that mission. We believe that how something works and how it feels are inseparable - and that the best product experiences create trust, reduce friction, and make complex things feel simple. ️ The Growth Team You'll be embedded in the Growth pod - one of the highest-priority, highest-visibility squads at Nivoda. The pod owns the levers that compound: acquisition, conversion, retention, and monetisation across the entire customer lifecycle. It's a team where design decisions show up in the growth dashboard the next morning. You'll work closely with Product Managers and engineers in the squad, and be part of a wider design team that cares about systems thinking, shipping fast, and making things people actually love to use. About the Role As Senior Product Designer on the Growth pod, you'll own the design of some of the most important surfaces at Nivoda: the experiences that turn interest into revenue and keep customers coming back. From experiments that lift conversion to features that build lasting habits, your work will directly shape how the business grows. This is a role for a designer who's equally comfortable with a blank canvas and a complex system - someone who can go from a rough problem brief to a polished prototype fast, who cares about both pixels and patterns, and who sees collaboration with PMs and engineers as a creative multiplier, not a constraint. What would you be doing? Own end-to-end design for growth surfaces across the customer lifecycle - working closely with the Growth PM to identify friction, run design experiments, and improve conversion, retention, and revenue. Design growth loops and lifecycle experiences - referral mechanics, pricing and packaging surfaces, and features that compound usage across both sides of the marketplace. Balance multiple workstreams and know when to go deep on craft versus move fast and ship. Contribute to and maintain Nivoda's design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the pod and raising the bar for design coherence across the product. Run lightweight user research - interviews, usability tests, and session reviews - to ground design decisions in real user behaviour rather than assumption. Work directly with engineers to ensure designs ship accurately and at pace. You won't throw specs over the wall - you'll be in the build with them. Use data and experimentation to validate design decisions: review funnel analytics, collaborate on A/B test design, and translate results into design iteration. Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders - you can explain a decision in one sentence or a 10-minute presentation, depending on who's in the room. Bring an AI-informed perspective to your workflow - whether that's using AI tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping, or thinking about where AI features can reduce friction for users. Mentor more junior designers on the team and help build a culture of strong craft and feedback. What do we need from you? 5+ years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking, high-fidelity UI craft, and measurable product impact. Proven experience designing for complex, data-dense or catalogue-heavy products - marketplace, e-commerce, search, or similar. Equally fluent in UX (flows, information architecture, usability) and UI (visual design, design systems, interaction detail). A track record of shipping fast in close collaboration with engineers - you're comfortable in a high-velocity environment and know how to make design decisions that don't block development. Experience running or contributing to user research, and translating qualitative insights into design decisions. Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent) and comfort working with or contributing to a component-based design system. Strong communication skills - you can tell the story of a design decision as clearly as you can craft the design itself. Based in or willing to commute to Boston regularly for in-person collaboration. Nice to have Experience designing growth surfaces - conversion, retention and lifecycle flows, referral loops, or pricing and monetisation - with a measurable impact on business metrics. Familiarity with A/B testing tools and a working understanding of how to design for experimentation. Experience using AI-assisted design tools (e.g. for rapid prototyping, content generation, or user testing). Background working at a B2B marketplace or two-sided platform. Exposure to motion design or micro-interaction design. Our culture and what we offer Nivoda is a place where smart, curious people do the best work of their careers. We're flat, direct, and genuinely collaborative - design isn't a service function here, it's a core part of how we build product. You'll have a real seat at the table and real ownership over the experiences you design. We care about craft. We care about shipping. And we believe the two aren't in conflict. If you're the kind of designer who gets frustrated when good work gets watered down, you'll feel at home here. Our current benefits Competitive salary: $130,000 - $150,000 USD Private health insurance Unlimited holiday allowance Opportunities for growth, learning, and career development The chance to join during an exponential expansion phase - and design experiences that reach buyers across 100+ countries Equal Opportunity Nivoda is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - even if you don't tick every box. If this role excites you, apply. Please submit your CV and portfolio link in English. Not quite the right role? If this isn't the perfect fit but you're excited by Nivoda, join our Talent Pool and we'll reach out when something that suits you opens up.

VERSANT is an industry-changing media company fueled by innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit. With a strong foundation and a forward-looking vision, VERSANT empowers creativity, embraces change, and drives connection in an ever-evolving world. Job Description We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to define, evolve, and govern our enterprise-wide North Star Data Model. This role will make data consistent, interoperable, discoverable, and reusable across business domains, products, analytics, and AI use cases. The Senior Data Modeler will work with Product, domain experts, Data Engineering, Analytics, Architecture, Governance, and Security to translate business concepts into a shared enterprise data language and practical models that teams can implement across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of our data platform. This is not a role focused only on designing tables for individual projects. It owns the connective tissue between domain models: the common entities, identifiers, relationships, definitions, metadata, and standards that allow trusted data products to work together across the enterprise. What you will do Establish the enterprise North Star Data Model Define and maintain enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models across core business domains. Establish canonical business entities, shared dimensions, reference data, identifiers, relationships, and lifecycle states. Create a pragmatic model that supports domain autonomy while enabling cross-domain analysis and data sharing. Maintain an enterprise ontology, business glossary, and semantic definitions so that important terms and metrics mean the same thing across products and teams. Design for reuse, extensibility, regional variation, and future use cases while avoiding unnecessary centralization. Model the Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers Define modeling principles and required artifacts for each layer: Bronze: Preserve source fidelity, source lineage, ingestion metadata, auditability, and raw-data contracts. Silver: Standardize and validate data; apply common identifiers, canonical entities, conformed dimensions, data-quality rules, and cross-domain integration patterns. Gold: Deliver governed, business-ready data products, semantic models, certified metrics, and analytics-ready structures for dashboards, self-service analysis, and AI. Ensure traceability from Gold metrics and business concepts back through Silver transformations to authoritative Bronze sources. Define clear rules for when a concept belongs in a domain model, the shared enterprise model, a semantic layer, or a product-specific analytical model. Review and guide physical implementations for performance, maintainability, cost, privacy, and scale. Enable data products and delivery teams Partner with Product Managers and domain leaders to turn business outcomes and use cases into clear data-modeling requirements. Partner with Data Engineers to define schemas, transformations, mappings, data contracts, and implementation patterns. Partner with BI developers to create governed semantic models, reusable measures, and self-service-ready datasets. Facilitate architecture and design reviews; identify duplication, inconsistent definitions, broken lineage, and integration risk early. Provide model patterns, templates, and coaching that enable teams to deliver independently while following enterprise standards. Govern for trust, security, and global scale Embed data quality, lineage, ownership, retention, security classification, privacy-by-design, and access-control requirements into data-model designs. Model regional, regulatory, language, currency, and local-business variations without fragmenting global reporting or shared concepts. Define stewardship and decision rights for enterprise entities, metrics, and reference data. Maintain model documentation and metadata in the organization's data catalog and modeling tools. Measure adoption, reuse, quality, coverage, and exceptions to drive continual improvement of the North Star model. What success looks like Teams use the same definitions for shared business concepts and key metrics. New data products can be delivered faster because common models, dimensions, identifiers, and patterns are reusable. Cross-domain reporting is reliable, explainable, and traceable to authoritative sources. Data consumers can discover what data exists, what it means, who owns it, and whether it is fit for use. Regional expansion is supported through intentional extensions rather than isolated local models. Gold-layer analytics and AI experiences use certified semantic definitions rather than reconstructing logic independently. Qualifications Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, data engineering, analytics engineering, or related disciplines. Demonstrated experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical models for complex, multi-domain data platforms. Experience defining or evolving an enterprise data model, canonical model, semantic layer, ontology, or common data model. Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, normalized modeling, data vault or equivalent integration patterns, and lakehouse/warehouse design. Experience designing models for raw, standardized, and consumption-ready data layers in a modern cloud data platform. Proven ability to translate business concepts into unambiguous data definitions, models, mappings, and implementation guidance. Practical expertise in metadata, lineage, data quality, data governance, master/reference data, and data privacy. Strong facilitation and communication skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and delivery teams without relying on direct authority. Preferred qualifications Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Snowflake, or comparable cloud data platforms. Experience with a data catalog, modeling tool, and metadata-management platform. Experience supporting global products and multi-region data, regulatory, or data-residency requirements. AI Product Designer -- Interface & Experience
ISMG Careers New York, New York
Job Description Job Description About Us ISMG is a global intelligence firm and media powerhouse, leading the way in cybersecurity, enterprise IT, and digital transformation. With 10+ brands, 38 digital media properties, and over 400 premier events annually-ISMG connects a network of over 2M executives, decision-makers, and innovators with the insights and opportunities they need to stay ahead. Apollo is the proprietary creation of ISMG's AI & Innovation team. It's an internal hub of AI-powered applications and workflows, custom-built for our various business units (Editorial, Marketing, Events, Sales, HR, etc.). It streamlines operations with intelligent automation and data-driven insights, and transforms how teams access critical cybersecurity insights by exclusively leveraging ISMG-verified sources-so teams move faster with confidence. The Opportunity ISMG is building a portfolio of AI-native intelligence products - audience analytics reporting, an AI-generated daily cybersecurity newscast, and a sourced Q&A system built on our conference archive. Every one of them is currently limited by the same thing: the interface. We have the pipelines, the data warehouse, and the models. What we do not have is anyone who owns what a CISO actually sees. As our AI Product Designer , you would be that person. This is a founding design-engineering role on a small team, with unusual latitude and unusual visibility. What you ship goes in front of security executives, ISMG's editorial organization, and enterprise clients. What You'll Do Own the front-end and interaction design for the team's AI products end to end - from stakeholder conversation to deployed application. Conduct lightweight user research, prototype workflows, and validate designs with clients and internal users before and after release. Translate complex AI and reporting workflows into clear information architecture and task-oriented experiences. Solve the interaction problems specific to AI output: how confidence is communicated, how citations surface, how a reviewer approves or rejects a machine-generated draft, and how uncertainty reads without eroding trust. Build quickly with AI-assisted development tooling, then rehome that output into ISMG's Azure environment - Microsoft Entra ID authentication, App Service or Static Web Apps, and Azure DevOps pipelines. Establish the design system this team does not currently have: components, states, data visualization patterns, and an accessibility baseline. Build and maintain Figma libraries, design tokens, and a practical design-to-code handoff process. Design for enterprise realities: role-based access, dense data, audit trails, exports, responsive behavior, and accessible interaction patterns. Instrument everything through Application Insights and bring adoption and usage data back into the roadmap. Partner directly with the AI Innovation Manager on API contracts and data access, and with business units across editorial, marketing, and sales on what they actually need. What You Bring to the Table 3 to 5 years of experience in enterprise front-end / UI/UX product development and design. Strong understanding of user flows, interaction patterns, responsive UX, and intuitive interface design. Experience with user-centered product discovery and demonstrated design judgment, able to synthesize user feedback and make evidence-based UX decisions around refinements. Advanced proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and semantic HTML. Strong knowledge of enterprise UX fundamentals: accessibility & performance, responsive behavior, role-based access, dense data / visualization. Experience using Claude for prototyping and Claude Code with VS Code/Cursor to turn UI/UX requirements into production-ready frontend code. Advanced design-system capability and expertise in Tailwind CSS, design tokens, themes, and dark mode. Experience with cross-platform mobile/tablet design, implementing solutions for compatibility and optimal UI/UX across various handheld devices. Strong knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, and Core Web Vitals. Exceptional attention to detail with a strong eye for spacing, typography, motion, responsiveness, and visual issues AI-generated code may miss. Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket code repositories and CI/CD workflows for team collaboration and deployments. Why ISMG? Join a high-growth, global intelligence organization with clear momentum and market leadership in the cybersecurity space. Data Platform Lead
Convene Hospitality Group Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Job Description Job Description Convene Hospitality Group (CHG) operates a global portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on creating places and experiences that bring people together. The company designs, develops, and operates hospitality-driven destinations to host gatherings of all kinds, ranging from small corporate meetings to immersive brand activations and beyond. We love bringing people together in person, and that passion for great experiences extends to our employees as well. If you're interested in creating inspiring moments of connection, consider joining our team. Data Platform Lead We're hiring a hands-on Data Platform Lead, to join Convene Hospitality Group's (CHG) Technology organization. You'll own our data platform end to end, from architecture to how we model the business, and you'll manage the analytics engineers who build on it. Data platform modernization and AI-first development are top priorities, and this role sits at the center of both, working hand in hand with the product engineers whose systems create much of our data. Today, our marts mostly mirror the systems they come from. Salesforce data looks like Salesforce, NetSuite data looks like NetSuite. You'll reshape our models around how the business runs, organized by domain, and layer governed dashboards and conversational analytics on top. In one year, a finance lead, a venue GM, and an AI agent should all be able to ask a question in plain language and get the same trusted answer. Today we run Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. You'll help us rearchitect for where CHG is headed: building on Snowflake's native capabilities (semantic views, Cortex, and its agent tooling), rolling out ThoughtSpot, and filling gaps like observability. This is a hands-on management role, open to first-time managers. If you've led as a tech lead, mentored engineers, or directed contractors, you'll get direct coaching from a VP of Engineering who develops first-time leaders. Experienced managers who still want to build are welcome too. What You'll Do: Own the data platform end to end. Architecture, reliability, and roadmap from source to decision across Snowflake, dbt, and Fivetran. Move platform configuration from the UI into Terraform, in coordination with Cloud Infrastructure, so warehouses, roles, grants and connectors are versioned, reviewed and reproducible. Rethink how we model the business. Move us from source-shaped marts to domain-oriented models built around how CHG runs. Set the modeling standards, naming conventions and review practices the team builds on. Work backward from the business question. Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations and venue leadership to turn the questions they need answered into models, metrics and definitions they trust. Partner closely with product engineering. Work with product squads on schema design, data contracts, and upstream changes, so the platform and products evolve together. Own data quality and observability. Set the testing standards, contracts, and reconciliation checks that make our numbers trustworthy, and alert an owner before a stakeholder finds a broken dashboard. Own the metrics and BI layer. Roll out our BI tool and build the semantic layer behind governed dashboards in Snowflake semantic views, with certified metrics and shared definitions, so a number means the same thing everywhere it shows up. Bring conversational analytics online, safely. Stand up natural-language querying and agents on Snowflake's native tools, with the evals and guardrails that keep agent, dashboard, and human answers in sync. Govern the data. Access control, PII handling and accessible documentation across analytics and AI. Lead and grow analytics engineering. Manage and hire our analytics engineers, and direct the contractors we work with today. Coach through code review, pairing, and clear expectations. Keep your hands on the keyboard. Write dbt models, review PRs, debug pipelines and prototype new approaches. Expect to build a lot, especially early on. What We Look For: You have 7+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering or data architecture, including building a modern data platform that people rely on in production. You use AI agents for real multi-step work: building models, writing tests, debugging pipelines and documenting what exists. You write clear specs, give agents the right context, and verify what they produce against the real system. You're deep on dbt and Snowflake. You've designed project structure, testing strategy and warehouse performance at scale, and you manage the platform as code with Terraform or similar. You're fluent in data modeling and have moved a team from source-shaped models to business-shaped, domain-oriented marts, then seen the change through to adoption. You've built data quality and observability practices: tests, contracts, freshness monitoring and alerting that people trust. You've built a semantic layer and governed metrics that people trust, and you understand what it takes to make natural-language and agent-driven analytics accurate. You've worked with managed ingestion like Fivetran and know where it fits and where it breaks. You've led beyond your own work: as a tech lead on a multi-person project, mentoring engineers, running interview loops, or directing contractors or vendors. You explain clearly to engineers and non-engineers. You can walk an analyst through a modeling decision and a CFO through a metric definition. You're high agency. You set direction without waiting for a spec, make architecture calls, and write down your reasoning. Bonus Points You've rolled out ThoughtSpot or another search-driven BI tool. You've unleashed an autonomous agent in the wild, and built the fencing, monitoring and improvement loop around it. You've modeled data from Salesforce, NetSuite or HRIS platforms. You've prepared data for AI use cases: retrieval, agents or feature pipelines. You've worked in hospitality, events, real estate or another customer-centric, multi-location business. Compensation: The above job definition information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
