This role ensures high availability, performance, scalability, and security of mission-critical database environments while collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, DevSecOps teams, and system administrators to deliver reliable data services in a secure, cloud-enabled environment. Principal Responsibilities: Design, deploy, administer, and maintain PostgreSQL database environments supporting mission-critical applications. Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, and capacity planning. Implement and maintain high availability, replication, backup, disaster recovery, and database monitoring solutions. Develop and maintain database automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.
