About the Role: Work closely with UT Specialist inspectors and NDE Engineers to develop and execute feasibility studies, POD's, and qualification plans. Requirements: Associate degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years of documented industry experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, broadband, network infrastructure, or a related field. Experience with fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, testing, and troubleshooting. Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or workforce development experience preferred. Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems such as Canvas. Ability to lift and transport training equipment and work in both classroom and laboratory Additional Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support student recruitment efforts by participating in outreach events, information sessions, career fairs, enrollment workshops, and community partner engagements. Serve as a program ambassador by promoting careers in fiber optics, broadband, telecommunications, and related industries. Collaborate with enrollment specialists and career coaches to support student enrollment, retention, and completion goals. Maintain flexibility to deliver instruction during daytime, evening, and occasional weekend schedules based on program and student needs. Additional Qualifications Ability to adapt instruction and scheduling to meet the needs of diverse student populations, including working adults and nontraditional learners. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasional weekends, to support program delivery and student success.
