Job Description Job Description Job Title: AWS Cloud Security Architect Location: Plano, TX/Reston, VA/Columbia, SC/Knoxville, TN/Lafayette, LA/Birmingham, AL Work Model: Onsite - onsite Responsibilities Provide security architecture guidance for enterprise applications, AWS cloud environments, hybrid infrastructure, cybersecurity platforms, APIs, containers, data solutions, and AI enabled applications. Partner with application and engineering teams to securely migrate workloads from on premises environments to AWS and other approved cloud platforms. Define and maintain cloud security patterns, standards, guardrails, security requirements, reference architectures, and implementation guidance. Conduct security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments for cloud native, hybrid, API, container, third-party, and AI/GenAI solutions. Define appropriate security controls and recommend remediation or compensating controls when security gaps are identified. Support secure AI/GenAI adoption, including LLM integrations, RAG implementations, prompt security, data protection, access controls, monitoring, logging, and human in the loop safeguards. Support AI governance and risk management processes, including security reviews, monitoring requirements, incident escalation, and lifecycle controls. Assess solutions against applicable security frameworks and standards, including NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS. Provide security guidance during technology evaluations, architecture reviews, security exceptions, and path to production activities. Work with cybersecurity engineering and operations teams on security capabilities involving SIEM, network security, endpoint security, data protection, and security configuration. Communicate security risks, requirements, and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and business stakeholders. Requirements 8+ years of overall IT experience, including significant cybersecurity and cloud security experience. 5+ years of cybersecurity architecture experience in roles such as Information Security Architect, Cloud Security Architect, or Infrastructure Security Architect. 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud security experience, including securing enterprise workloads and cloud migrations. Strong knowledge of AWS security services, controls, IAM, networking, logging, monitoring, data protection, and cloud security best practices. Experience securing enterprise cloud and hybrid environments and performing security architecture reviews. Experience with threat modeling, security risk assessments, control gap analysis, and remediation planning. Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, and FIPS. Experience defining and applying security standards, patterns, guardrails, and technical security controls. Working knowledge of AI/GenAI security, including prompt injection, data leakage, model access controls, AI guardrails, observability, approved model usage, and human oversight. Understanding of security considerations for LLMs, RAG solutions, APIs, containers, and enterprise data integrations. Ability to work effectively with application developers, cloud and infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity teams, enterprise architecture, compliance, risk, and business stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical security risks and requirements clearly. Strong organizational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, or similar cybersecurity certification is preferred. AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure AZ 500, or another relevant cloud security certification is preferred. Desired Skillset: Security experience across Azure and/or GCP in addition to AWS. AI/GenAI security, AI governance, or AI risk management experience. Container and workload security experience covering build time and runtime controls. API security experience, including enterprise API gateways. Security engineering experience with SIEM, firewalls, endpoint/host security, or security configuration management. Experience with AI-enabled cybersecurity capabilities such as security analysis, vulnerability prioritization, detection support, secure code review, or workflow automation. CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, or similar cybersecurity certification. AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ 500), or comparable cloud security certification. This role defines the reference architectures, integration standards, and governance patterns for low-code AI agents that connect Microsoft 365 and core enterprise systems. The Architect partners with business and technology stakeholders to translate priority use cases into secure, scalable, production-grade copilot experiences aligned with Invesco's AI strategy, risk posture, and regulatory obligations. The role requires deep hands-on expertise across the Microsoft AI stack, a pragmatic delivery mindset, and the ability to translate emerging agentic capabilities into measurable business value. You Will Be Responsible For: Solution Architecture & Design Define and own the target architecture for CoPilot Studio agents at Invesco, including topic design, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, plugins, connectors, and handoff patterns to Microsoft 365 Copilot. Establish reference patterns for integrating CoPilot Studio with existing Invesco applications, infrastructure (including Cloud across Azure & AWS), and SaaS platforms. Lead architectural reviews, design-authority sign-off, and technical due diligence for new copilot use cases across the enterprise. Delivery & Engineering Leadership Partner with product owners, business analysts, and makers to translate business needs into agent designs, conversation flows, and grounded knowledge strategies. Oversee the hands-on build of priority copilots - authoring topics, prompts, plugins, and custom connectors - and coach engineering teams on best practice. Drive Application Lifecycle Management, source control, environment strategy, and CI/CD for CoPilot Studio solutions using Power Platform Pipelines and Azure DevOps / GitHub. Governance, Security & Responsible AI Define and enforce guardrails for CoPilot Studio - Data Loss Prevention policies, environment strategy, authentication (Entra ID, SSO, On-Behalf-Of flows), data residency, and content moderation. Embed Responsible AI principles - grounding, citations, evaluation, red-teaming, and human-in-the-loop - into every solution delivered. Ensure all copilots meet Invesco's information security, privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements. Business Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the trusted technical advisor to business sponsors, evangelizing both the capabilities and the realistic limits of CoPilot Studio and agentic AI. Build and run a CoPilot Studio centralized practice covering standards, templates, maker enablement, and a value-tracking framework. Operational Excellence Establish observability, telemetry, conversation analytics, and quality metrics for production agents. Contribute to the management of capacity, consumption, licensing (messages, AI Builder credits, premium connectors), and total cost of ownership across the CoPilot Studio estate. Align CoPilot Studio delivery with Invesco's modern delivery models and product-aligned engineering teams. The experiences you Bring Minimum 8+ years in solution architecture or senior engineering roles, with at least 2+ years hands-on with Microsoft CoPilot Studio (and/or predecessor Power Virtual Agents) delivering production agents. Deep, demonstrable expertise across the Microsoft Power Platform - Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and AI Builder - together with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility (declarative agents, API plugins, connectors, and the CoPilot Studio agent builder). Strong working knowledge of Azure AI services - Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search (vector and hybrid retrieval), Azure AI Foundry, Document Intelligence, and Content Safety. Proven experience with conversational design, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks, and agent orchestration patterns, including multi-agent and Microsoft 365 Copilot handoff. Solid grounding in identity (Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, On-Behalf-Of flow), Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, and enterprise integration patterns (REST, Logic Apps, API Management). Experience operating within regulated environments - financial services preferred - including data classification, DLP, and audit controls. Demonstrated ability to lead architectural governance forums and mentor multi-disciplinary teams of professional developers and citizen makers. Experience with Power Platform CLI, and Power Platform Pipelines for end-to-end ALM. Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. AB-100, PL-600, PL-400, AI-102) would be a distinct advantage. Experience integrating CoPilot Studio with line-of-business platforms in asset management, wealth, or capital markets would be a distinct advantage.
