Minimum Requirements This classification requires a basic foundation of knowledge and skills in systems analysis and related programming support functions generally obtained by a bachelor's degree in computer science, or an equivalent amount of training and applied experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or related field. 2+ years experience using VMware tools to operationalize server provisioning, orchestration, and self- service elements. 2+ years experience using enterprise applications to operationalize lifecycle management for Windows Server and/or RedHat server operating systems (Puppet Enterprise, RedHat Satellite, Microsoft SCCM/ECM, Active Directory). 3+ years experience supporting Windows Server and/or RedHat server operating systems. Experience working with data center network topologies including TCP/IP, switching, routing, VLANs, load-balancing, and firewalls. Experience using common programming and scripting languages to codify platform automations and/or API integrations. 2+ years experience working with VMware software defined data center services such as NSX-T Data Center, vRealize Automation, and vRealize Network Insight. Experience with private cloud services at a university or similarly complex enterprise environment. FLSA Exempt: Yes
