About The TeamTuro's Dynamic Pricing team builds the pricing intelligence that powers recommendations for over 200,000 vehicles globally. This foundational economic engine influences tens of millions of pricing decisions each day. These models directly shape guest demand, host profitability, and the overall efficiency and balance of our two sided marketplace. The team is small, high impact, and works across the full life cycle-from research and development to deployment, experimentation and iteration.
What You Will DoYou will own complex pricing challenges spanning demand modeling, supply-demand dynamics, causal inference, and optimization under uncertainty. You will be a creative, rigorous data scientist energized by mathematically complex, ambiguity rich problems, and you'll translate unstructured questions into statistical frameworks and deployed solutions.
Responsibilities Modeling & Causal InferenceTarget base salary range in San Francisco: $156,000-$195,000 annually. The role also eligible for equity and benefits. Pay is determined by objective factors such as job related skills, experience, and education. Work EnvironmentTuro highly values in office collaboration. This role will be in office on a hybrid schedule - 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Working in the office at least 3 days per week is an essential function of this hybrid role.
