What You Will Do
As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you'll take a high-impact, cross-functional role across multiple parts of the engineering stack. You'll help architect, design, and implement the systems that power the company's core financial platform - spanning backend services, web interfaces, and mobile app integrations. Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and develop scalable systems across backend, web, and mobile platforms.
- Design and implement performant APIs, services, and user-facing experiences.
- Collaborate with iOS, Android, and backend engineers to build a cohesive cross-platform product.
- Lead technical design discussions and set engineering standards for quality and reliability.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security across the stack.
- Work directly with founders and product leads to shape technical and architectural direction.
- Potential to grow into a general engineering leadership role across multiple platforms.
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack consumer applications.
- Proficiency across frontend and backend technologies, including:
- Backend: Python, Go, or Rust
- Strong understanding of system design, distributed architectures, and modern DevOps workflows.
- Deep sense of ownership and ability to move fast while maintaining code quality and stability.
- Experience handling complex data or real-money systems at scale is a strong plus.
Preferred
- Experience building products for Latin American or emerging markets.
- Previous work in fintech, banking, or cryptocurrency.
- A strong eye for product design and user experience.
- Comfort leading architecture across web, backend, and mobile stacks.
