Description: The Senior Loan Review Associate resides in the Loan Review team, within Enterprise Risk Management. This position will help conduct loan reviews across the Bank's non-consumer loan portfolios. This role involves analyzing financial information, collateral, and underwriting decisions to ensure compliance with Bank policies and regulatory guidelines. The analyst will evaluate the quality and condition of individual credit and determine appropriateness of risk ratings. The Senior Loan Review Associate consults and timely provides the VP, Loan Review an objective assessment of the credits reviewed. Internal loan review provides management and the board with an objective, independent, and timely assessment of the overall quality of the non-consumer loan portfolios. The Senior Loan Review Associate is expected to validate the loan risk ratings based on the timely identification of problem loans by the business units so that necessary action can be taken to strengthen credit quality and minimize the Bank's credit loss. An effective credit risk review system identifies relevant trends that affect the quality of the loan portfolio and highlights portfolio segments that are potential problem areas. After one year as our Senior Loan Review Associate you should be able to do the following confidently and independently Conduct loan review analysis of non-consumer loans in the Bank's various portfolios. These reviews include: 1- Analyses of financial information, cash flow, collateral, loan documentation and underwriting decisions. 2- Analyzing Debt Service Coverage Ratio and/or covenant trends, and classified asset update/action plans. 3- Ensuring individual loan transactions are adequately underwritten and properly graded, conforming to Policy. Make recommendations for adjustments to the loan risk grade. Collaborate, confer and discuss results and recommendations with the VP, Loan Review and applicable credit personnel. If applicable, participate in targeted reviews as directed by the VP, Loan Review. For example, complete retrospective reviews (postmortem reviews) and lessons learned to identify issues/trends that may need improved in underwriting and/or asset management (control break downs), to prevent similar credit issues from occurring in the future. Identify relevant portfolio trends that may indicate changes in the credit risk. Work to develop and maintain functional partnerships with colleagues in the line of business to ensure effective communication and understanding of credit related processes. Promotes and maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a positive, professional manner to work effectively with co-workers, management, partners, and vendors. Description Summary: The Application System Analyst II serves as a liaison between system end-users (customers), operational leaders, additional support resources and vendors to design, build and optimize their assigned applications in a timely and high-quality manner. The Systems Analyst II will provide application support and optimization. They work closely with the Service Desk to assist in responding to service requests. The Application System Analyst II must be able to analyze business issues/requirements and workflows and apply their application knowledge to meet operational and organizational needs. Project implementation responsibilities include collaborating with customers contributing to the analysis, testing, and documentation and implementation of medium to high complexity activities of assigned software. This position must possess sufficient detailed healthcare knowledge and systems expertise to implement medium to high complexity assigned application with minimal guidance. Represents user needs and expectations in larger, more complex system updates and enhancements. Provides clear and organized status reporting on key project areas to be used as external communications to stakeholders. Performs working level process and requirement analysis, including process mapping though current flow charts, documents, future needs/plans, requirement elicitation, stakeholder analysis, and specification gathering to deliver cross team solutions. Responsible for completing working level gap analysis, and providing recommendations. Able to clearly articulate complex design, configuration issues to end users and project stakeholders. Maintains relationship with end user leadership post-engagement. Proactively addresses end user conflicts. Contributes to strategy discussions by identifying options with associated pros and cons with team members. Facilitates making timely decisions; makes sound decisions even in the absence of complete information. Recognizes when a quick 80% resolution will suffice. Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control. Strong technical proficiency in application-specific design and configuration. Ability to clearly articulate and communicate core design, configuration concepts to end users. Able to independently analyze, design, and configure the application. Collaborate with Operational Leaders to focus on standardized best practice workflow processes and content to ensure alignment across all ministries, to create efficiencies, and to ensure optimal operational processes. Coordinates code changes with appropriate vendor related to financial and business application issues. Collaborates with Technical Team to identify and infrastructure related issues that have resulted in application issues. Share industry best practices from vendors with Operational Leaders. Demonstrates increasing technical knowledge of the assigned application including relationships of infrastructure and impact to user if unavailable. Serves as a liaison between business operations and providers, internal information technology, system users and vendors working within the defined project objectives for issue and problem resolution. Follows strict change management processes ensuring proper approval, testing, and validation of system changes. Overall management of the Dev/Test environments within the Rural King environment. Oversee practices and processes to ensure integrity and availability of all data and applications as part of Rural King's information systems. Partner with groups internal and external to QA to ensure testing is complete. Make sure that the processes needed for the business to function and succeed are running smoothly, acting as a technical point of contact. Design, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, scripts, and test cases for functional, SIT, end to end, and other testing cycles Maintain repository of regression tests for assigned application stacks, inclusive of defining scenarios for automation Analyze defects for trends and opportunities to improve test cycles Identify areas of opportunity for automation within the process Drive execution of automated scripts at all levels of the QA process Execute test cases, leveraging both manual testing and the automated suites, interpreting results, and providing feedback to dev team through clearly written defects Participate in deployment and post-production validation Collaborate with internal and external teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria Lead continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and technologies Mentor junior members of the QA team, providing training and guidance Coordinate with external development and testing teams Partner with end users for execution of User Acceptance Testing Management of the Rural King application QA/Dev environments inclusive of code version and data Provide end user guidance and support for application software Create functional documents such as training instructions for end users Provide functional & technical assistance to internal customers Assist with training end users on software systems Provide technical assistance when applications are being designed, developed and tested Participate in all phases of SDLC Analyze and review enhancements for compatibility and insure they adhere to operating guidelines Prepare and present status reports to internal customers Collaborate with internal teams to create test cases, identify, document & resolve issues Provide on-call support as directed by the manager May be required to cross train and perform other duties Use general office equipment.
