My client is seeking a JD Edwards E1 Contract Billing / Subcontract Management ex pert to join a newly formed JD Edwards team within a growing organization in the construction industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional who wants to make a meaningful impact, helping shape the systems and processes that support a large pipeline of construction projects planned for 2026 and beyond.


This is a REMOTE DIRECT HIRE position, must be based in the U.S.


In this role, you will work closely with project managers, construction managers, and executive leadership to implement, optimize, and integrate JD Edwards Contract Billing and related applications across the organization.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead implementation and integration of the JD Edwards E1 Contract Billing module and related applications.
  • Partner with project teams and leadership to support financial and operational workflows tied to large construction projects.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including creation of detailed subcontract agreements and vendor commitments tied to projects.
  • Manage progress payments, retainage, and holds for subcontractors based on work completion.
  • Support and maintain change order management processes tied to project contracts.
  • Oversee compliance tracking and documentation logs, including insurance certificates, submittals, and transmittals.
  • Ensure seamless integration with Job Cost, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger to maintain accurate financial reporting and project budget control.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and process improvements as the organization expands its JD Edwards capabilities.

Required Qualifications


10+ years experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting organizations within:




    • Construction
    • Engineering
    • Building / Infrastructure
    • Electrical or Power Generation industries

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the JD Edwards E1 Contract Billing module.
  • Proven experience with JD Edwards implementations, integrations, and system enhancements.
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, subcontractor management, and construction financial workflows.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business teams and project leadership.

Preferred Qualifications



  • Knowledge of system implementation lifecycles and structured change management processes.
  • Familiarity with SOX compliance and data privacy standards.
