Essential Functions: Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to develop and manage system models using Cameo Systems Modeler. Design and implement software systems and microservice architectures to support space mission engineering. Decompose high-level requirements into detailed, actionable specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Conduct system-level analyses and trade studies to support design decisions. Develop and maintain documentation, including system architecture diagrams, interface control documents, and test plans. Support the verification and validation of system requirements through rigorous testing and analysis. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience 4+ years experience decomposing complex requirements into detailed specifications Experience working in Cameo Systems Modeler or similar MBSE tools Experience developing microservice architecture and its application in software systems Preferred Additional Skills: Active TS/SCI security clearance is preferred Experience with other MBSE tools and frameworks Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) Experience in space mission engineering, including mission design, analysis, and operations Knowledge of space systems and subsystems, including spacecraft design and operations Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner) MBSE Certification like but limited to OMG Level 1 Certification Experience with systems engineering standards and best practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $104,500.00 - $193,500.00 . The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $90,500.00 - $168,500.00 . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
