Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Technology and Solutions Group, the Field Applications Engineer will travel primarily to customer sites and facilities throughout the US (up to 50% travel). Sales & Customer Engagement Partner with Account Managers during the sales process to define customer requirements and articulate the Circuit Check value proposition. Conduct technical presentations, demos, and system walk-throughs that connect test engineering challenges to CCI's product capabilities. Support proposal development by helping estimate scope, identify risks, and ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivered functionality. Attend customer meetings and trade events as a technical representative and subject matter expert. Support new business models for pre-sale engagement include test development consultation early in the design process Aftermarket & Field Support Serve as the primary post-delivery point of contact for technical issues on Circuit Check functional test systems. Provide both remote and on-site support for troubleshooting, configuration, and system optimization. Coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve escalations efficiently and document corrective actions. Develop and deliver customer training on best practices for fixture use, data collection, and maintenance. WATS & Test Data Management Act as the first-line expert for WATS -helping customers interpret data trends, configure dashboards, and extract actionable insights. Troubleshoot data integration issues, ensuring reliable data flow between production systems and WATS. Create and maintain standard procedures for onboarding new customers onto WATS, including user setup and training. Learn how to write basic WATS data converters or work with internal software resources when they are required. Product Champion - TestPartner Serve as Product Champion for TestPartner, Circuit Check's cybersecurity and test data management solution. Demonstrate TestPartner functionality during customer engagements and trade events. Collaborate with Product Management to collect customer feedback and identify enhancement opportunities. Create application notes, user guides, and case studies showcasing TestPartner's capabilities in production environments. Cross-Functional Collaboration Interface with engineering, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure that customer insights inform future product development. Partner with marketing to develop technical collateral that effectively communicates Circuit Check's differentiators. Participate in internal training to maintain deep product knowledge across evolving hardware and software platforms. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years in test engineering, field applications, or technical sales support roles within electronics, automotive, or defense industries. Familiarity with functional test systems, data acquisition, or automated test equipment (ATE) concepts. Working knowledge of test data management platforms (WATS preferred). Experience with LabVIEW, Python, or C/C++ for test data or automation environments a plus. Preferred to have understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, networked test environments, and production data systems. Strong communicator able to translate between engineering and customer perspectives. Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and training abilities. Self-directed, collaborative, and customer-focused; able to manage multiple accounts and tasks concurrently. Comfortable working in dynamic technical environments and traveling to customer sites. Experience in contract manufacturing, electronics test, or ATE integrator environments. Hands-on familiarity with Circuit Check test systems, WATS, or TestPartner. Prior experience presenting at trade shows or conducting customer training sessions. The listed range of $82,000 - $110,000 represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. Ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed. Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Circuit Check. Employees (and their dependents in most plans) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, short- and long-term disability and accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
