Location of Employment: 757 Third Avenue, 20th Floor, New York, NY 10017 Position Title: Cybersecurity Analysts Duties: Install, configure, and utilize a variety of security products and respond to computer security breaches and viruses effectively. Work closely with CTO to assess new products, conduct pilots, and install and troubleshoot products. Collaborate with security teams to develop and implement countermeasures and remediation strategies based on penetration test findings. Investigate and perform threat analysis and stay up to date with vulnerabilities and security risks associated with Windows, Linux, MacOS and corporate protocols such as Kerberos, LDAP, and Active Directory. Conduct penetration tests to identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities, exploit potential weaknesses, and assess overall security. Deploy required software at client sites and troubleshoot problems. Prototype and develop web applications using React JS, Node JS, Drupal, Gatsby JS, or PHP as requested by management. Travel: Up to 30% domestic and international travel to client sites for installation and troubleshooting of software and systems. Days/Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering and the following skills: 1. System and network security fundamentals; 2. Knowledge of the OSI model and networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, ); 3. Knowledge and understanding of data encryption; 4. Shell programming (Linux Shell, Powershell); 5. OS administration and troubleshooting Windows, Linux, or MacOS; and 6. Use of web application technologies: React JS, Node JS, Drupal, Gatsby JS, PHP, and MySQL Skills may be gained through academic coursework or projects and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.
