Reporting to the Capacity & Planning Manager, this is a key role within the warehouse operation for the production of an optimum warehouse resource plan, and efficient layout. The purpose of the role is to proactively plan work schedules within the operation for all functions to deliver all performance expectations, within a 24 hour, 7day distribution centre.
The Role:
* Support the planning of inbound vendor deliveries balancing inbound requirements with operational capacity
* Planning inbound, outbound and stock transfer movements
* Production of internal and external reports
* Contribute towards the improvement of processes/methods of operating practices on site
* Provide leadership and development to capacity and planning team
* Maintain good working relationships with customers including face to face meetings
The Person:
* Strong communication skills at all levels, both verbal and written and excellent presentation skills
* Logistics / supply chain planning experience is essential
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Energy, enthusiasm and commitment are essential characteristics in this fast moving environment.
* Strong degree of PC literacy, with an emphasis on accuracy and an extensive knowledge of spreadsheets / MS Excel is essential, along with competency dealing with Macros, SQL and databases
* Proven leadership and management skills within a challenging environment

The successful candidate will be predominantly office based but with opportunities to travel to customer site for implementation projects. My client is based in East Staffordshire and easily commutable from Stafford, Birmingham & Burton upon Trent.
They are looking for someone with a mix of technical skills to include,
* Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory Network Services Installation and Administration (Inc TCP/IP, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP)
* VMware administration, including monitoring, provisioning, housekeeping and troubleshooting activities to maintain a stable environment.
* Microsoft Exchange 2010 configuration and troubleshooting.
* Proven networking skills, including a sound knowledge of IP Routing, VLAN's, QoS, POE and ACL's

The successful candidate will be predominantly office based but with opportunities to travel to customer site for implementation projects. My client is based in East Staffordshire and easily commutable from Stafford, Birmingham & Burton upon Trent.
They are looking for someone with a mix of technical skills to include,
* Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory Network Services Installation and Administration (Inc TCP/IP, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP)
* VMware administration, including monitoring, provisioning, housekeeping and troubleshooting activities to maintain a stable environment.
* Microsoft Exchange 2010 configuration and troubleshooting.
* Proven networking skills, including a sound knowledge of IP Routing, VLAN's, QoS, POE and ACL's
* Customer focused, with experience of providing advice and guidance to customers over the telephone, e-mail and Internet with a proven track record of service delivery
* Organised and methodical, with the ability to work to targets and goals
* Enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with the ability of working within a demanding environment and be able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving
* Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure, whilst showing initiative at all times and an ability to apply a lateral thought process to problem resolution
The essential requirements for this role include,
* Microsoft/CISCO/VCP Certifications highly desirable
* Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008/2012
* Active Directory and the associated services (Inc DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)
* VMware Systems & SAN technologies in conjunction with VMware's virtual environment.
