Essential Functions: Engineering customized configurations for IP networking equipment based on customer requirement. Developing and maintaining Enterprise IP Addressing plans. Deploying planned configuration changes to support site or standards modifications. Maintaining accurate network documentation and homing plans. Providing 2nd level support to IP service activation teams. Collaborating with IP Engineers to create and maintain configuration baselines of network equipment. Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship. You will onboard once we process and obtain your interim Public Trust. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Experience creating/maintaining IP address plans along with router and switch baseline configurations. Experience engineering peering relationships based on BGP, OSPF, and HSRP across internetworked IP network devices. Preferred Additional Skills: Domain knowledge of data protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EIGRP, HSRP, IS-IS, LDP, PIM, MSDP, and Ethernet. Automation scripting experience (e.g., Python).
