Job Description

We have a New Business Development Opportunity within the software industry for a motivated and professional sales person to join a team of software developers, IT professionals and a well-established sales team. You will be required to bring on board new business with clients ranging from SME's through to corporate and public sector organisations. The business was founded in the year 2000, they are a well-established firm with over 20 sales employees, 95% retention rate with clients and commission paid on repeat business to the new business team. The new business development executive will be required to bring on board new accounts, manage these through the process, complete the end to end sales cycle and visit clients where appropriate. You should also have the confidence when delivering remote software demonstrations and running web meetings with potential clients. Requirements - Business Development Executive * Proven experience in new business development (no account management) * Working B2B ONLY (no B2C applicants) * Software sales * Experience of articulating a solution with multiple features and benefits to Director level contacts. * Excellent telephone and prospecting abilities * A proven successful track record in Sales achievement (evidence) * A clear demonstrable understanding of the sales process * IT literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite * Degree educated or equivalent Desirable - Business Development Executive * Experience of Professional Services Automation (PSA) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software would be a very distinct advantage * Exposure to Time keeping, Project Management, or finance related software solutions, such as accounting, practice management, case management would also be advantageous * Understanding of operations within Professional Services companies (namely Architects, Engineers, Agencies, Consultants) or other project based businesses. * Experience of working in a competitive team environment * Delivering targets within a challenging, growing and dynamic environment Applications for this role are extremely high, so please apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
