Essential Knowledge & Experience: Solid experience and knowledge in Commercial Master Data Management, Business Rule Engine Tools, Data Management activities. A deep understanding of the core capabilities and principles within data management and hands-on experience with multiple of the following: data quality, data governance, data operations. Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection Demonstrable experience managing complex projects and consistent delivery of varied types of projects in relevant areas of the business. Expertise in master and transactional data (e.g. Customer related or National and Sub-National, multi-channel data and other sources of sales data) and a strong understanding of the challenges and limitations of transactional data. Ability to distil complex issues and change to contribute to discussions in order to drive decision-making. MDM Project Delivery: Partnering with local affiliates, various regional and global teams, lead design and delivery of end-to-end data processes on MDM, including data stewardship processes, under the direction of the Associate Director, Data Platforms - MDM in close partnership with Senior Manager, Data Stewardship. Participate in design and delivery of other processes on MDM, in partnership with various stakeholders. UAT preparation and support on data stewardship processes on each wave. Develop and maintain SOPs, business glossaries and any other key documentation on data stewardship processes. Actively support hypercare on stewardship processes. Prioritize data stewardship demands/requests/issues and initiatives within Commercial and beyond, proactively identify project delivery risks and issues, communicate and propose solutions to address. MDM Stewardship: Own documentation of business rules, business glossaries, SOPs in partnership with related various teams. Partner with various stakeholders to understand and gather new rules/requirements and oversee the demand/change throughout its lifecycle. Partner closely with various business (e.g. Commercial Data Platforms/Strategy, Ethics and Compliance) and IS teams to design and implement data quality frameworks, including data quality monitoring processes. Provide business steer and ownership on data quality definition and monitoring and issue resolution. Manage relevant vendor teams ensuring data is processed and transformed according to business rules and strict data quality frameworks. Design and implement the new Data Strategy Customer Data operating model (master and transactional), sharing best practice across the commercial organization and delivering a first class customer-focused data management service to the business. Preferred Knowledge & Experience: Experience in pharma or other highly regulated environment. Hands-on experience with Veeva Network. Experience in Agile methodology and execution and design thinking. Experience of working with Big Data/Analytics. Education/Qualifications: Undergraduate or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related IT degree. Additional Information: This is a permanent full-time position. Position based in the UK.
