We are a small team. We have around 30 people in our software team, so even though we are a part of a company of around 100 people overall, the software team has retained a small team “startup” feel. Your colleagues will be from a wide variety of backgrounds – we encourage diversity, openness and gender equality.
We value the long-term. The success and stability that comes from 25+ years’ experience in software development means we value the long-term in terms of software development and the development of our people.
We empower teams and individuals. Teams are empowered to own their products. Individuals are empowered to make meaningful contributions at every level.
We are agile. We develop using an agile approach, which focuses on our ability to respond to change. We broadly follow XP practices, but we take a pretty pragmatic view about this. Lead Developer - AWS Serverless, C# - London
We are looking for two lead developers to join our growing team!
You will be helping to build our platform using technologies including DynamoDB, Elastic Search, C#, Angular and Xamarin. You will have the opportunity to help us shape how we develop, fulfilling implementations for clients and enhancing our core platform.
Our solutions are addressing ‘retail simplification’, enabling organisation who are burdened with legacy solutions to adopt modern retail best practice.
To support our growth and accelerate our product development we are seeking candidates with strong development skills and a track record of delivering software projects. Any exposure to the retail sector would be an advantage, though not essential.
We understand candidates will not necessarily have experience of our whole technical stack. So we are looking for people with the potential to broaden their existing skill set.
If you want to help lead the development of our platforms, and if you have some of the following experience, please get in touch!
Relevant Skills
C#
Writing and consuming Web Services
Team leading
Angular / Web Front End development (We are currently using Angular 7)
NoSQL (ideally DynamoDB)
Serverless concepts – AWS Lambdas or Azure Functions
AWS
Location
Most of our developers work from home, however we do have the option of a London office, there is also the possibility of client site visits.
