Windsor Forest College Group is looking for Technician Art & Design / Artist in residence to join the Strodes team on a full time basis. This is for 3 days a week role. Technician Art & Design / Artist in residence We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly competent technician to join our art and design department. The requirements are for a person with proven practical skills, who is well organised, enthusiastic, creative, can work independently and within a team. The Art Technician works very closely with all members of the Art Department and would need to assist in preparing lessons and providing practical support for staff and students throughout the day. The Art Technician must have good communication and time management skills and be able to relate well to students. The person could be either a qualified artist, art related background or someone with the qualities already mentioned, and would need to have an easy manner, and an enthusiasm for the subject. We currently offer A Level course in 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphics, Photography, media and film making. The department itself is well resourced including a DT workshop, 3 kilns, potters wheels, a printing press, darkroom, photographic studio, IT suites and a green room.
