Senior IT Support / Service Delivery Consultant - Onsite Support & Projects
Guildford, Reigate-Crawley area
£35,000 - £40,000 + 23 days holiday + Public Holidays, Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Mileage Allowance

The Senior IT Support / Service Delivery Consultant Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our growing technical delivery team for an experienced and motivated Senior IT Support / Service Delivery Consultant . The individual will represent us by providing onsite IT support and project delivery for customers based in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.

You will need to demonstrate a high level of technical skills coupled with great communication and customer support experience. The role is based onsite at our major customers located in Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire and also within our head office location at Edenbridge, Kent. For this reason, the ideal candidate will be located somewhere in the Guildford, Reigate, Crawley area. A driving licence and access to your own transport is required - mileage allowance is paid for business travel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technical expert to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and work within a fast-paced environment with the full support of our consultancy that has over 20 years' experience in IT service delivery.

Technically you will need a minimum of five years' experience in a commercial IT support/projects role and ideally a degree or technical qualification in a relevant field. Candidates with recent Microsoft technical qualifications will be highly regarded.

+ Managed switching (VLAN / Trunking / STP / LLDP etc.)
+ Advanced Routing (OSPF / BGP)
+ SonicWall & Ubiquiti Exposure
+ MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016/2017
+ Exchange Clustering
+ Clustered Hypervisors (VMWare / Hyper-V)
+ iSCSI Shared Storage / SAN (HP MSA / Dell PowerVault)
+ VoIP Technologies
+ Azure
+ GUN/Linux Exposure

Relevant Qualifications (any of below would be great):

+ Degree Level IT Qualification or demonstratable equivalent industry experience
+ Microsoft MCP/MCSA
+ SonicWall SNSA/CSSP
+ Professional Body Membership; BCS / IET


+ 3+ Years in client-facing hands-on technical role
+ 5+ Years IT experience in MSP role or similar
+ Excellent verbal & written communication skills
+ Positive / can-do attitude & confident dealing with stakeholders at all levels
+ Confident and outgoing
+ General passion for IT & technology
