Due to recent acquisitions and exciting plans for the future, we are looking for someone to join our team as a Microsoft and Cloud Specialist. You will be working within our IT Operations team, providing expert management of the Drax cloud infrastructure to provide a stable, secure and resilient environment.
This is a stimulating role, it is varied and challenging and not easy to distil into one advert. Typical work could include; ensuring system availability within given Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) across all supported systems, analyse operational issues and problems to ensure agreed service levels, pro-actively monitor the environments and resolve any alerts, continual Improvement of our systems, offered service and infrastructure security, managing the disaster recovery testing and assist with service desk requests as required. We are looking for you to bring your experience of Azure, Office 365, servers (physical and virtual) and virtualisation platform design, build and maintenance.
You will need an understanding of MS Exchange, Active Directory and Citrix.
We also want you to bring your knowledge of ITIL best practice and service level management, IT security best practices and pro-active monitoring and system management tools.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach. Dealing with multiple priorities and stakeholders, you will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a logical approach to problem solving. You will be a team player, but also self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
