Enterprise Cloud Security Architect A reputable financial services corporation is recruiting an Enterprise Cloud Security Architect to take the business from on premise infrastructure into the cloud from a security perspective. The chosen candidate will work alongside C-Suite members of staff, influencing decision-making and contributing to the transformation of a global business. The chosen candidate must have 3 years plus in security solutions architecture and understand the latest cloud trends within cyber security. Our client is offering a permanent salary of 100,000 to 120,000 circa + bonus + equity share options + car allowance to be located in Wolverhampton or Chatham ( 3 x PW). The role requires someone with cloud experience and knowledge to lead the security design activities for foundational cloud services such as computing, storage, and networking, as well as the integration points with existing Group Security services and processes such as monitoring, alerting, and incident response. Role responsibilities: Scope, design, and build secure cloud services to support the Modernisation programme and deliver a scalable and flexible cloud security architecture to support and facilitate innovation for our client's services. Develop and build secure network architecture patterns (e.g. hub-spoke), including ingress/egress capabilities and work with the network team to connect the cloud platform with our client's data centres. Support other architects to drive discussions and design choices to deliver scalable and manageable cloud solutions through guidance aligned to security, performance, operational, and cost constraints. Working closely with application development teams to understand product feature pipelines and their requirements from the cloud platform Drive automation and consistency by following the principles of Infrastructure as Code and ensuring the quality of deliverables by mandating automation with multiple levels of quality and security checks built into the automation pipeline. Core skill set: Solid capabilities in the latest security design processes at an enterprise level (must have). Domian experience within a highly regulated sector would be preferred.
