Worcester
£50,886 per annum (rising to £53,564 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

The new and exciting role of Software Development Team Leader is based in the Information Systems (IS) team. IS are responsible for delivering technology within Sanctuary Group. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual seeking an opportunity to continuously improve their skills whilst leading and developing a small team of software developers. You will be at the heart of the team encouraging excellence and promoting creativity whilst delighting internal customers by delivering invaluable functions to front line workers through the use of modern tools and techniques. The IS team is fun, friendly and flexible, working collaboratively together to enable our frontline teams to support the lives of our customers.
The role of IS Development Team Leader will include:
Leading and encouraging a team of up to 5 software developers
Using your creative skills to continuously improve the Groups bespoke systems
Identify modern tools, techniques and methodologies to continuously progress the team
Use your open-minded approach to build fun and collaborative relationships internally and externally
Skills and experiences:

A natural leader
Excellent collaboration skills
Hands on experience within a software development role along with practical experience of application development methodologies
Hands on experience of C#, .net 4.6.2, Json.net, Web API 2 and Xamarin
The ability to work in a fast-paced Agile development environment
Experience of working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
A degree in the field of technology such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical discipline; or equivalent experience
Occasional travel may be required so a full UK Driving licence is desirable but not essential
