The Candidate: Essential * Very good development experience in high volume transactional application using Java and RDBMS ( SQL Server is preferred) * Proven support experience of SQL based performance improvement in complex and high volume transactional application * Experience in Object Oriented design using Java and SQL * Experience in design methodologies (UML, Component Design Tools, etc.) and in TDD environment. * Very good knowledge of SQL performance tuning and optimisation techniques using Sybase 15.0 or SQL server 2012/2014 * Working knowledge of ORM tools such as hibernate * Knowledge ANSI SQL and writing complex Stored Procedures using SQL Server * Data model design experience for performance * Unix Shell Scripting skills * Working knowledge of Linux * In depth relational data model knowledge * Experience in UNIX & Windows Server. * Experience in the following: * Writing technical designs * Writing functional designs * A sound knowledge of the product as it relates to the client’s requirements * Business process re-engineering * Desirable * Java, JEE and Javascript based web application development and support experience * Knowledge of Application servers such as Jboss/Websphere/Tomcat * Experience in the finance industry. * Understanding of relational database management systems. * Experience in providing technical support for business applications. * Certification in architecture framework such as TOGAF, Zachman * Experience in providing technical support for business applications. The Role: As an SQL Systems Analyst, you will provide technical services to product development, integration, customer support and client projects through in depth knowledge of applications, code development, system design, operating system design and software applications.
