Kibana Big Data Engineer

My client, a Global Blue Chip, currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kibana Big Data Engineer to join their established but rapidly expanding Technology Practice. An experienced Kibana Big Data Elasticsearch Engineer to work with in a collaborative and friendly Elastic Stack as a Service (ESaaS) team on exciting deliveries. Ideally, you will have experience in data pipelines, interrogating the data to create dashboards around the known, unknown, unexpected and trends. Your Role * Work as an internal consultant interrogating and analysing data to create amazing dashboards for both users and big screens * Drive design of new Features and participate in architecture discussions. * Contribute your part in the agile delivery, automated testing and ITIL * Provide internal Kibana training to teams across the bank order * Obsessed with keeping up to date with the latest in the technical Kibana communities Essential Skills * Experience writing queries against SQL and NoSQL databases 1-2 years with JavaScript and other scripting languages * Experience of big data interrogating and data modelling best practices * Experience with the following tools: Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana. SQL and NoSQL databases (data modelling and aggregation techniques). Programming languages: Python (pandas, numpy), JavaScript, Ruby, R, Scala (one or more).
